pretty sure it is UK , but ask Virgin at check in if not sure.

make sure you fill out the green I-94w visa waiver form correctly ( they hand them out at check in and on the plane) otherwise you will be sent to the back of the queue at immigration . some people don,t fill out the departure section. this section gets stapled into your passport and should be collected by the airline on departure. Virgin did not do this last time we flew with them , meaning a whole load of hassle of getting sent back.

if check in @McCarren do not take it remind them ... if they won't ask them who will be taking it .

if you still have it at boarding gate ... physically put into the hand of the gate staff before you board flight home .

    Oh dear......
Are you referring to the green perforated slip that immigration give you when you go in?
If so, I have a horrible (yet very real) feeling that we didnt hand ours in before flying back home in July...

I cant actually recall keeping it nor can I recall handing it in.

Anyone know what may happen when me and oh go this year if, in fact, we somehow kept hold of it and dont have a clue where it may be.....

    Gulp. :o

    Hi everyone!

    2. Also want to go to the Valley of Fire, Red Rock Canyon and Hoover Dam ( we have a hire car). Are they worth the trip out?

Most definately, and I would say do the tour inside Hoover dam too.

    4. Finally....what's the best way to get to fremont street on an evening? Is it ok to go in the car, or are we better to go on a bus?

I think the bus is usually quite full. A car will be fine. We went during the Grand Prix weekend and were still able to park OK.

    Don't worry!

If they didn't take it, it's likely to still be in your passport, as they are stapled in very securely it's hard for them to fall out. Obviously if you took it out yourself that doesn't apply ;)

Have a look here for details of what to do:

    http://london.usembassy.gov/dhs/cbp/i94.html

Basically send the green bit off to an address in the above link :)

While I am not advocating this approach :o I did actually once re-enter with my green form still in place from the previous visit (I didn't realise it was still there until we got to the airport, leaving the UK) and immigration didn't say a word, they just removed it and put it with a large pile of others!

if it is not stapled into your passport and you don't remember pulling it out, then check in on your way home probably removed it with out you noticing ( like they should ) .
there isn't a lot you can do if you don't have it , as you need to send it to a address in USA if you still have it and provide proof you left in time .

if you still have your airline stubs from flight home , keep them safe and take them with you next trip. if not take a Credit card or bank statement showing you were back home before your 90 days.

i had to send ours back with loads of proof . it can take upto 4 months to process . you can check if you send it back ( after 5 months i think) but not if you think it was collected by the airline.
i worried myself a lot about this ( thats me folks ..worry about every little thing) but found no useful answers online. best answer i could find is that it is a flawed system ,and the people who deal with arrivals know it's a flawed system that breaks down .

it supposed to be next to impossible to to hand the things in when crossing back into Canada , and Mexico by road.

just take your proof with you next time a . At worst you will get 2nd interviewed and a bit delayed , more likely you will never hear anything about it ,:A

we have had no problems the last 2 vists

Same thing happened to my husband once, he also didn't even realise it was there, and he had the same result as you.

I am also not advocating this approach as it's not the 'right' way to do it...just giving my experience based on what happened to my husband. :)

    Hi everyone!
We are off to vegas in 19 days (soooo excited!).
The we are staying in the bellagio for 7 nights paid for entirely with Tesco deals :T .
My questions are as follows -
    1. We have booked a trip to the Grand Canyon with papillon. It also covers Monument Valley. Has anybody done this at all? Read some bad reviews for Papillon, so want to make sure they are ok.
    2. Also want to go to the Valley of Fire, Red Rock Canyon and Hoover Dam ( we have a hire car). Are they worth the trip out?
    3. I realise that the weather is not going to be mega hot, but wondered if it will defo be coat weather (obviously not for G.C and M.V heard its quite cool there this time of year), or if we will get away with sweaters whilst just around the strip itself?
    4. Finally....what's the best way to get to fremont street on an evening? Is it ok to go in the car, or are we better to go on a bus?

Thanks in advance for your answers!
Any other suggestions are most appreciated.

We did Papillon last year for breakfast by the canyon then did them again for river rafting up the Colorado - FANTASTIC - cant rate them high enough!!

Never tried Fremont Street on an evening but I do know that Taxis are plentiful and quite cheap. Also there are various points for trolley busses along the strip - Reception should be able to assist there.

Hoover Dam is awesome well worth a trip.

A few years ago we were there over 21 Febraury and the weather was great. Not warm enough for the outside pool but fine for t shirt and jenas.

Have a great time and dont forget there are thousand more things to do than just gamble -

ps you must do the duelling pianos in the New York New York it is fab!!!

We are off there in March so wont see you there but have a great time

With the offers above I can get the MGM Grand for 130 dollers a night (for nobvember). Worth booking as a fall back in case of no better offers later on?

as long as it not a no refund offer ( i don't believe it is ) , any fallback you fancy is worth it , if you can live without the 1st nigh deposit for few months

i would say bus. that way you drink and you don't have to worry about the car. Fremont street is very safe but gets a bit iffy if you stray away from the main drag .

I have been to fremont street by bus and in car in the eve.

both are ok, if you go in the car, park for free in one of the hotel car parks. we used main street station and used a 2 for 1 buffet coupon there first.

red rock is ony 30 mins away and yes it is worth it and so are the other 2 and I would also recomend an internal tour of the Dam

weather at GC will be minus overnight (prob) and my guess is it could be chilly on the strip

EDIT just realised you are only there 7 days..I wouldnt do all those trips in a 7 day hol to Vegas as there is loads to see and do on the strip...save some of them for NEXT TIME !

Does your trip allow for Valley of Fire and Red Rock before the GC?

I'm just thinking that the GC is going to blow the others away - we've already made a note to consider this for a trip with my in-laws this fall - go to the others FIRST. :) Otherwise I fear that it would be a bit anticlimatic.

I think that if you're doing the GC then maybe just make the trip to Hoover Dam and leave the others until another trip as photome suggested.
