I just had to come and let you all know my tickets have been printed and are on the way to me! :j :j :j Oh my goodness its only 4 weeks today we leave!!
I am just SO excited, incase no-one noticed!!:D
I know my tickets are on the way as I have been able to update my flight details & book my seats at Virgin atlantic this morning and was previously unable to do so due to a non-direct booking.
I wondered, if some experienced traveller could help me with the following,
I was filling in the form with the advanced passenger information and I was a little confused about the citizenship part as my passport says british citizen but on the drop down list it doesn't actually have british citizen, it says United Kingdom or various "British" options e.g."British protected", "British National over seas", etc. I have put United kingdom, Is this the correct option?
I know it is vital that this information is correct!
Thanks in advance,pinkpinkfizz

Aprilpretty sure it is UK , but ask Virgin at check in if not sure.
make sure you fill out the green I-94w visa waiver form correctly ( they hand them out at check in and on the plane) otherwise you will be sent to the back of the queue at immigration . some people don,t fill out the departure section. this section gets stapled into your passport and should be collected by the airline on departure. Virgin did not do this last time we flew with them , meaning a whole load of hassle of getting it sent back.
if check in @McCarren do not take it remind them ... if they won't ask them who will be taking it .
if you still have it at boarding gate ... physically put into the hand of the gate staff before you board flight home .Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -

I agree. And the name of your hotel isn't enough. We got sent back as we had only written 'Excalibur Hotel' on ours once. Now there's only one in Vegas, but still.Maybe the immigration agent was having a bad day. Luckily we found it in a guidebook we had with us. Since then we make certain we have something with the address of the hotel on our person.

Sorry to bother you chaps but not sure if its me or what but cant open any of the links to the cheap hotel bookings??? Any ideas?
cheers:beer:0 -
Aprildon't know why but some of the links in last deals post did not paste correctly
hopefully should all now be working .i always post source underneath of the links so you can to the site and link to the offers as well :A
if you are still having trouble try right clicking them and then opening in new tab optionBetter in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
I didnt post the source of the stratosphere link as it was emailed to me (just in case anyone though I pinched it from another forum).
It is a great deal from $31...£18 a night.(peeps on here go mad for the travelodge deals at £19). I like to stay there for a couple of nights for the single zero roullette (the only one on the strip with a low table limit)0 -
MarchAmerican Airlines fare sale that might help some - fares from London from £341 and from Manchester from £294. Book by 11th Feb.

They also have some great fares to New York, Boston and Chicago that must be booked by tomorrow...so cheap that if the limited dates work, booking an onward internal return flight to Vegas might still be a good deal.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Hi everyone!
We are off to vegas in 19 days (soooo excited!).
The we are staying in the bellagio for 7 nights paid for entirely with Tesco deals :T .
My questions are as follows -
1. We have booked a trip to the Grand Canyon with papillon. It also covers Monument Valley. Has anybody done this at all? Read some bad reviews for Papillon, so want to make sure they are ok.
2. Also want to go to the Valley of Fire, Red Rock Canyon and Hoover Dam ( we have a hire car). Are they worth the trip out?
3. I realise that the weather is not going to be mega hot, but wondered if it will defo be coat weather (obviously not for G.C and M.V heard its quite cool there this time of year), or if we will get away with sweaters whilst just around the strip itself?
4. Finally....what's the best way to get to fremont street on an evening? Is it ok to go in the car, or are we better to go on a bus?
Thanks in advance for your answers!
Any other suggestions are most appreciated.0
