I'd just like to thank Pennylane again for the tip last month about the bonus 5000 Flying Club miles for signing up to Virgin Poker. They've finally credited them to my account, and I've just booked our miles and money return flights for October with a saving of over £100 each!!

    Hi,

I have just got my white card and done my initial spend. How long before the credit of 5000 miles shows. I believe that you get a letter and then it takes some time for them to appear into your account sign. I want to book mile and money deal for Aug and need 4000 miles.

    Cheers

Your miles will be added to your account shortly after you receive your first statement from Amex. Mine have always been added very quickly.
Keep a look out for special offers of double, triple and even quadruple miles. There was a 4x miles offer at Selfridges, OH had just paid £400 for a pair of Gucci shoes 1 week before the offer, so she returned them, and bought them again straight away. Kachinggggg 1,600 miles added:p
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Twice at Bally's and both time successful from a 'classic' to a 'deluxe' - and both the deluxe rooms were 'diamond' rooms - high floor, slightly larger, etc.

Check here for experience at Stratosphere - not the best percentage, but only 18 people have reported in...worth trying at least.

The American Casino guide can be bought at most Borders, or Barns and Noble book stores in Vegas. Price is $14.00 There are literallly 10's of things in there to be used, 241 buffets, free slot plays, free nights at hotels, etc, etc. You will save the cost of the book on your first buffet. We always buy 2 of the updated version on our first trip of the year, (with a Borders card you get 30% discount) Go to the website and you can see a full list of all the vouchers that are in the book.
BTW it is also a very good read, tells you all about the different types of games, betting strategies, and how to play.
