    Morning all xx

I'm delighted to report that my Monday morning weigh in revealed -3 lbs.

That wake up call in the week was painful but exactly what I needed. Thank you all for your support and kind comments.

Another half a pound to get rid of and that'll be my first 3 stones discarded. Then another 4 lbs and I'll weigh the same as I did when DS was 2. (Thirty years ago). Then I'll start whittling away the next 3 stones.

catz - you've done amazingly well to lose 7 stones. Please don't let that last 7 pounds derail you.

Up and at 'em folks. We can do this.

  • 1lb For me, didn't know if I was happy with that but over a year it's a lot, also have lost on top of that but I'm putting it down to medication weight and not recording it, feels like I'm getting somewhere now.

Have been increasing my exercise, planning a walk to the beach later and it's just starting ruddy raining, typical.

Good or bad, well done if you jump on the scale, have a good week everyone.

P.s My collection of free donuts in the freezer, from Lidl is growing, I'm sure someone will visit, find and scoff. 😆

  • Checking in, a 1lb gain @Brambling. Not surprised, the last couple of weeks have been a mix of holiday and friends about, so meals out.

I am struggling so much with motivation! A lot to do with the heat I think, and struggling to sleep! 🥵 🤣 I'm managing 5k runs now, but still cba to do yoga or strength exercises.

Deffo need to have a word with myself. Sending supportive vibes to everyone!
  • @jennystarpepper - I have a friend trying to lose some weight who also has been enticed into more frequent Lidl visits (and I think she said the offer had been extended beyond the first week but she is not buying more, simply spreading out her purchases).  She too has added the items to her freezer but has recently down-sized that and so is running out of space to keep them.

@Brambling       I have to admit to a +1 lb rather than a loss.  (But still a loss since the start of the quarter and since 1 January and well within the "healthy" BMI measurement.)

@Brambling. A loss again at last  :). Only -1lb but better than nothing. I have been trying recipes from the Michael.Mosely 5:2 books for a while without actually 'fasting' on 2 days a week. This week I have started limiting to 800-1000 calories on 2 days just to see if it helps. I started on a hot day because it was easier to eat less!

  • I am - 0.5kg. I am playing with intermittent fasting and different fasting windows but I need to be mindful of what I eat in the eating windows. Snacking and sweet cravings are definitely my downfall.
