jennystarpepper said:Mystery of the scales continues, STS for me, grrr, (well they move up and down by a quarter).
I do feel like I've lost as certain parts of me have changed as I would expect, I've had no spuds, rice or pasta and no chocolate. I think my medication is messing me about, water retention again and things a couple of cigarettes used to help with. I'm eating lots of fruit and veg, no full fat coke, no booze, and exercise has increased. I will stick with it (no treat on weigh day today).
Did have a trip to Maccy's yesterday, it's something I do a couple of times a year for a flurry, wanted to try a Milky bar ice cream, ruddy thing was not working, came home and had a sugar free ice pop!
Well done, Gingerlily, that's a great loss.
Have a good week all.

@Brambling. Small improvement at last! -1lb this week. Had to restrict myself to tuna and egg salad yesterday evening to achieve it! At least I have a day off today so will do some more walking.5

Evening all,
Reporting a loss of 3.9lbs and under 20st again - gosh its been a while! I've found it nice to not obsess over the scales and just kinda get on with it. Might even move to monthly weigh ins.
Good luck

What exactly do you do for kitchen disco and indoor walking? Just curious
Indoor walking - there are sessions on YouTube that you can follow.
Bit hot at the moment to do either. I don't like 'going for a walk' outdoors alone. So the indoors walking suits me. And I need to build my dancing stamina ready for the wedding reception in November. I've always loved dancing.....when I lose a bit more weight I think I'll look at line dancing, zumba gold, and I quite fancy having a go at burlesque. But for now indoors and alone is where I'm at.

Hi everyone,
Only 1/2 lb off for me this week. Every little helps as they say.2 -
1.5lbs off this week, very pleased with that.
Not been able to quite do the amount of walking I wanted as its been too hot (I'm one of those weirdos who prefers the wind and rain), but tbh last night and this morning I really put the effort in and thats made the loss.
Any loss will see me dip under 16st (refusing to look at kgs, just find it easier for various practical and mental reasons), another 1.5lbs will get me my 1 stone.
Fingers crossed!
Hope everybody has a good week, thankyou for compiling this @Brambling.6 -
