Lots of great ideas there Jennystarpepper thank you, must say spice is definitely my friend on a diet like this.. I also use a self hypnosis that keeps my motivation up, I wonder if other people might find it useful? https://www.rachaeleccles.com/hypnosis-audio-shop/Lose-Weight-Now-Hypnotherapy-for-Weight-Loss-Hypnosis-Download-or-CD-p239716007

Couple of last things I'd recommend, I've just bought a new cast iron griddle, you need to get it smoking hot, it really does taste great if you get bored with what you are eating, Mr Pepper enjoyed his steak. Also, chilli, I use all the spices above, plus onion and mushrooms, a jar or passata and a tin of chopped tomatoes, a couple of fresh chillies and 2% fat of pack of turkey mince.MFW - 01.10.21 £63761 01.10.22 £50962 01.10.23 £39979 01.10.24 £27815. 01.01.25. £17538

I used to have one of those griddles and it constantly rusted up, don't know what I did wrong had to give up on it in the end. You're spot on with spices, toms passata and turkey mince, I make a great chilli with those. Lots of veg and legumes hmmm.2

I return home tomorrow so will post my weight early Friday. Praying for a good result. I have eaten more here but have also walked about 65000 steps in 4 days. Fingers crossed 🤞 As long as it is at least std....
@Brambling Despite all the exercise I did in Liverpool (over 70000 steps by the end), I still have to record +1 lb this week. It could have been worse I suppose. Going swimming now to start the burn off2 -
Hi all,

boo.... put half a Ib on this week.
Thats 2 weeks in a row Ive put weight on, all whilst sticking to my diet and exercise religiously. Not fair!!
ah well, just hope its one of those weird hormonal blips. Im pretty sure I couldnt cut my food down further or do more exercise without becoming a right miserable cow so fingers crossed next week is better!
Doing some prep in the kitchen today. Made a loaf of bread and black bean and sweetcorn spread for lunches, also roasted chickpeas and blueberry chocolate flapjack bites to take to work.
Meanwhile teas are still salady bits, hummus and rice cakes because I tend to get stuck on one thing and eat til bored! LOL
Hope everybody else is doing well and enjoying the sunshine.3
