hi all
too tired to post yesterday… I’ve had some kip now (and wordled and connected).
I have tidied the fridge, WUALTD, loaded DW, ironing pile is no more; yesterdays laundry went straight from line to board, apart from work tea towels which were folded and bagged ready to return. Rabbit hutch cleaned out and aired and redone…and i dreamt that, not only did i put it back upside-down but tgat mice were hiding from the cat in it…. Been to buy sack of bunny food and dropped off a raffle prize en route. Phone. loaded for next month. Knitting done, Countdowns watched…Im only 4 episodes behind now. Been to coop for freezer filler and got zyS meatballs so got a hm tomato sauce from shed freezer to top them with and used up last of garlic bread, too…almost like it was planned. Out of fusilli pasta (i buy the huge bag) so DD has added it to shopping list on her phone.
Just plugged in kindle (was dead) and phone to charge on cheap rate leccy.
Friday list up. Same old…Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Round and CofG sounds like you both have sensible plans there.
Round I bet you get snapped up by another employer pretty quickly. We are recruiting at the moment, so it's a shame you aren't up North! Although can you imagine two of us Flyladies in the same office? Seriously though, you have been unhappy with the people at work for ages and you don't deserve it. I am cheering you on x
I saw the Mental Health Practitioner at the doctors yesterday and have decided to get some proper help for my anxiety. I am getting older and constant stress is really bad for my health, it is also making me more unhappy than I am prepared to admit.
The small issue with our car turned into a £500 bill. I really hope DH gets back to doing some work before too much longer. We are fine day to day but it's hard to save for these kinds of things.
Right, much waffling from me, we are away camping for a few days so Flying will be limited to keeping our trailer tent clean and tidy.
Love and hugs as required. Enjoy the nice weather xx8 -
morning all
duvet cover off the bed and in the WM. Though i have spares i like this one. As i also use sheets it doesn’t need washing weekly (unlike DD’s) but I do like to get them on the line.
YL…sounds like a plan. An office with 2 (or more) Flyladies would be a happy place! With cakes, probably.
I think I’m going out for an Afternoon Tea today, with my bestie. We got a voucher for Christmas. We’ll be driving past the posh neighbours gaff, I wonder if we would have time to pop to their newly-refurbished (and hideously expensive) farm shop?Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning all xx
Thank you YL xx. I hope the weather is kind to you. It was warm here yesterday and the sun is out again this morning. Where are you going? Seaside? Mountains? Country Park? Moors? Will there be boiled eggs and lashings of ginger beer? 😊
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, et al. Completed Wordle in 3 and Connections took me two minutes to solve.
I found my GCSE certificates.....and with them my O and A level certificates. So that's a bit more of the application form completed. Just got to complete the section where you have to use all the key words while telling them how you're the right person for the job. And voilà- ready to review and submit.
TGIF. The weeks go fast but the days at work last forever. Time fascinates me 🤓
Anyhoo. The birds will be fed and the recycling will be deposited in the appropriate receptacles.
Have a good day

ASB wishing you lots of laughs and happiness
Cog I was sorry to hear of As health issues - I'm glad he is recovering. Look after yourself too
Round don't ever change 😊 Good luck with the job applications
Narc0 I hope your mum continues on her recovery and that you are able to be home soon
Hugs to anyone else that needs them
Flying today - WMx1, pegged out to dry
After the paid stuff I will pick up & vac round. Everything is looking a bit neglected, especially the garden! I might potter out there while the kids are playing later.
Oh and I must order DH's birthday pressie today! Also DGS's present - I can't believe he is nearly 2!
Have a good day all!7 -
Morning all. The concert yesterday evening was brilliant and we both enjoyed it very much - everything from Bach and Debussy to Hans Zimmer and John Powell's 'How to train your Dragon'
(NB: link does not show the excellent organ we heard).
So far this morning I have
- updated my spending accounts
- written 2 birthday cards
- watered the pots in the back garden
- unblocked the access hatch at the bottom of the compost bin so that the door fits properly again
- swept the back yard - if I don't achieve any other other flying today, this counts, doesn't it?
- tidied the utility
- sorted out some plastic boxes for transporting buffet food
- put borrowed ice packs into the freezer
- put drinks into the fridge to chill
- brushed moult off Rosie's comfort blanket before putting it in the WM
and still not had breakfast!!!
Lots of flying and other things to be done today, so I'd better keep going while I can.
It's Friday - nearly the weekend. Have a good one! xxx

Washing on the line - it didn't spin very well (I presume an unbalanced load) but given it's roasting out there I pegged it out anyway; a pair of DD's work trousers and a tunic were in there too...the trousers were dripping a little! But I could see the tunic drying as I ate my breakfast!
I want to clean my BR as it's bed change day. All curtains/blinds on the front of the house are drawn and I have a fan on... Hopefully I can stay cool enopugh to do the dusting/vacuuming!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Flying wise, I'm having a big sort out so there's space for carpet fitters to work their magic. it's slow work on my end of things.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
