Thanks PigPen and Narco. Everywhere seems to do things differently. I think we will just have to see what happens if and when they come round. Our bathroom wouldn't lend itself to being turned into a wet room and A refused to have the bath replaced with a shower when we re-did the bathroom a few years ago. He's very strong-minded and won't always do things that to me seem to be the most sensible. I rang social services today but there was no reply and then I had to get on with other things so I'll try again tomorrow. He received a letter from the hospital giving him a date in a couple of weeks for an angiogram on the right coronary artery (they put the stents in the left), so at least that's happening quickly. The results of the blood tests that he had on Monday came through on Patients Know Best and he does have antibodies to measles, which is good, and his lipids have really improved, even though he had only been taking the med for that for two days before the test, which seems surprising. After trying socials services I went out and bought the paper and bread and came back and made us a coffee. I then made lunch an WUPA everything and had a vac around and a S&S in the kitchen and bathroom and tidied the dining table, which yet again was covered in clutter (how does it get so untidy so quickly?) Our friends came for tea and to visit A after which I WUPA everything again, watched a bit of tennis, made supper, washed up again and then put out A's breakfast things and his morning medication.7

I am sorry I’ve been absent. Life is absolutely manic, getting up at 5am, and collapsing in a heap around about this time! Flying has been involved but paid stuff / children / DIY / dating lovely man 🫣 is taking over!
Thinking of you all, I will be back soon. Big love to A. CoG if you’re still up for meeting let me know. I’ve just booked tickets to London arriving on 11th august if you are able xx9 -
Narco - you may need to get that red flag out for your Mum. I know the feeling as last Saturday we arranged the book carts so I could get around and I was racing around with my rollator. It was such fun. Haven't moved that fast in weeks.10

Morning all
ASB I am so glad it's working out with your man x
Fed up here as I think the UTI is back after 3 lots of antibiotics, and we are going on holiday on Friday. I don't finish the current antibiotics until tomorrow so not sure what the docs will say if I ring today. I am supposed to be doing a charity cycle ride in 10 days time too, and cycling is not possible at the moment. I know this infection is nothing serious, but still.
Did a bit of flying last night so the house is presentable. Full day at the paid stuff ahead.
At least the sun is shining!9 -
Cleaned the kitchen and bathroom yesterday, did a HHI.
WM x 2, towels and bath mats ready to go on the line today. Off to the paid stuff later.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning all xx
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch, completed Wordle and Connections, eaten breakfast and supped a brew.
It was chaos at work yesterday. Lots of people swapping rooms. I stayed tucked away in my office as I was very busy, but it was very distracting. I was coping OK until I heard the radio through the wall.... instant trigger for my anxiety. I was OK last night but straight into 'I don't want to go' this morning 🤢.
I've gathered all my emails together ready to send to ICO. Not had any reply to my last email so.....
Some good news though: P was at the hospital yesterday and the haematology consultant said she would see him again in six weeks and if his bloods are still stable it will be phone appointments after that. He's felt much better in himself for the past couple of weeks, so hopefully that's a corner turned. He's still on the low grade chemo. I guess they've now got the dose right to keep his blood within acceptable limits.
Better get my shoes on. I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I trudge off.
Have a good day. GWS to all the poorlies.

Great to see you, ASB! Glad things are working out for you, even if it makes life hectic! xxx
Do let us know if you're arranging an open Flymeet in London...
Hope you'll begin to feel better soon, YL x
Weenancy, watch out or you'll get speeding points on your driving licence! x
Well, yesterday was a bit of a washout, as I couldn't get going in the morning and felt grotty all day. Not helped by the fact that I only got about 5 hours' sleep at night. I dealt with WMx4 and hung it out, but it wasn't a good drying day. Thankfully Rosie decided she only wanted a short walk, so I had enough energy left to do a bit of shopping locally, but flying is currently minimal. I must make cakes today, for the wedding lunch and for my DD's family, but I think I'll go back to bed for an hour first. DH won't be up to make breakfast before 9.00 anyway.
Hope you have a good day. The sun is due to appear at about 10.00 here, and the weather forecast is suggesting that this is the start of the real summer xxx9 -
