Oxbury are cutting their EA rates:
"Personal Easy Access Account (Issue 1).
We are writing to let you know that from 05/11/2024, your account's interest rate on balances above £1,000.00 will change from 4.59% Monthly Gross / 4.69% AER to 4.34% Monthly Gross / 4.43% AER."
Obviously anticipating a rate reduction on 7 Nov.

@soulsaver
Just a minor one but Principality BS have altered the layout of their website. Consequently the link to the Principality 4.85% Online Triple Access Saver has changed to:
https://www.principality.co.uk/home/savings/savings-accounts/online-bonus-triple-access
The old link now just takes you to their main compare savings accounts page.4 -
Chase bonus rate is coming to an end on Nov 4th, so started the usual hunt around today.
Firstly, feedback for MSE Towers - I'm not sure that limited withdrawals necessarily qualifies as 'easy access.' Perhaps it's just me, but Easy Access accounts should be just that. I'm wondering if this section should be split into easy access (no conditions/ penalties) and easy access (with conditions/ penalties)? Maybe I'm biased though on account of how I treat my easy access account, which is basically a daily liquidity account.
Anywho, I was about to sign up for a Chetwood EA account, but noticed that they process withdrawals by the end of the next working day. As I use my account daily, and expect/ need instantaneous transactions, that wouldn't work for me. So my question is, does anyone have a Chetwood account, and is it in practice a same-day withdrawal (albeit the Ts&Cs state next day)? (EDIT - this would also be a useful piece of info to include on the MSE info section in the main article)

Some advice , I’m away working & noticed an email from Skipton BS saying the FA Bonus Saver 1 A interest rate is changing to 3.55% , I’d forgotten this was only 6 months, any advice on moving money back out?Where are others moving to? I’ve seen Chip are now doing 5%, anyone know how hard to move the money out of Skipton? Website seems to indicate max amount if in branch but little about online, i presume its £125k maximum withdrawal.Also when do we get the interest ? I presume next year some time once the year is up.0
