Thanks, good spot...
Reasons for error? Usual suspects: Alcohol.. Maybe age.. Or maybe... both?10 -
I wish my experience so far was as slick. Well, everything was slick until I tried to log in again after the successful initial account setup. Experiencing a persistent issue with failed logins (all credentials checked and double checked). Password reset worked successfully to regain access to my account, but all subsequent login attempts fail.mebu60 said:
Ditto. All pretty slick so far. West Brom could learn a thing or several!allegro120 said:

I've never heard of this bank before. The account was very quick and easy to open. Good to have another one on the waiting list. The only drawback is the next working day delivery.
Very nice lady on the phone didn't know why it was happening and has passed on the issue to the relevant department. Hopefully they can resolve swiftly.0 -

On a random telephone call the other day to Cahoot about something else I mentioned that I thought they were winding down their Cahoot brand over the last few years. They mentioned that they were concentrating now on savings products and an app is in development. This is call centre staff, so I'm not sure if that is necessarily the case. They said it isn't right for an online only bank to not have an app - which I agree with, but they never bothered with one before now so not sure.allegro120 said:

Surely it would be easy enough to rebrand the existing Santander app, the same way as they have done now with the website.3 -
Thanks, I looked at that but there were some comments on it being difficult to set up and I really wanted at app ( OH wont use it there is no app!)allegro120 said:

Looks you might have to settle for a lower interest rate to meet your requirementsgreenery said:

I have officially given up on Sidekick. It's been ten days since my application and it still hasn't been approved. They say "Due to increased volumes, we're working through a number of applications at the moment." Pah! There are other accounts paying very nearly the same interest, I think MSE should withdraw its recommendation.2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.0

KevinG said:I think MSE should withdraw its recommendation. The article lists the providers with the best rates. It shouldn't be taken as a recommendation, and it is not unusual for providers who get a mention to have issues with a backlog of applications. There is a dedicated thread on the forum where the consensus seemed to be to pass on this one, given the rate isn't head and shoulders above conventional options.6
