I’m trying to pay my first deposit into my Chetwood account but it keeps saying ‘name doesn’t match’ is there something else I’m meant to put under payee full name? Can anyone help?

What are you trying to put in? It's usually your name, as on the account.

Are Chetwood signed up to Confirmation of Payee?

How long ago did you open the account? Sometimes it takes some time (24 - 48 hours) for COP to work on a new account, depending on provider.

True EA accounts are easy access savings accounts which can be opened, and the headline rate earned, from a balance of just £1, and allow unlimited deposits and withdrawals. This table excludes accounts limited to smaller balances, paid for/premium accounts and savings platforms. True Instant EA accounts are True EA accounts which advertise immediate deposit and withdrawal times 24/7. Red highlights are accounts whose interest rate has lowered, green highlights are those whose rate has increased, and blue highlights are those which are new to the respective table.

A nice splash of colour since last time. Chetwood and Secure Trust increased their rates and Cynergy, Post Office and Tesco lowered their rates. Skipton BS withdrew its tracker account and cahoot's rate dropped massively, taking them both off the scorecard and (re-)introducing Hampshire Trust and Chase to the tables. Note along with Marcus/SAGA at the bottom of the True EA table, Tesco Bank and Zopa would occupy the same place, but I'm going by the moneyfacts website which is presumably alphabetical order.

JN Bank offers a 3.76% account which might have pipped Chase but as far as I can tell deposits and withdrawals to this account are not immediate. I'm happy to stand corrected it if it is - and on any other error of course.

Next BR decision will be announced next Thursday.

Just had an email from Virgin regarding my Defined Access E-Saver Issue 19 rate will drop from 4.76% to 4.51% on 18th November.

Only got £1 in there after the drop to 4.76. Will leave it as is

Furness BS Double Access Saver (Issue 1) (£1 min) to be launched at 4.9% tomorrow.

Note Furness BS now allow their accounts to be both opened and managed online/in app.

Double Access, so does that mean only two withdrawals are allowed?
