I thought this was for new customers only ? I’ve got an a/c with them already and successfully opened this easy access 4.5% in 2 mins !

I have just checked in their app and you can schedule payments with Revolut (either as a one-off or regular) - so their 5% account could be useful for you for the rest of the year… Cahoot at 4.32% or Ulster at 4.30% could also be other options worth looking at for scheduled payments.

Sure about Cahoot? Not seeing scheduled payment functionality.

I've opened the Saga easy access account. No ID checks at all. All opened and accessible within about one minute.
I've no related savings accounts but do have a Saga insurance policy (that uses a different email to that registered for the savings account). So my guess is that that has enabled me to avoid the ID checks.

with existing payees, there should be a radio button to either pay now, or to schedule a payment..
the option is also there when setting up a new payee…
now in all honesty, i've never scheduled a payment from a Cahoot savings account (everything goes through their current account) - but that latter screenshot is from setting up a payee from a Simple Saver.

I’ve got an old easy access a/c with saga.co.uk with a rate of 3.69% but still managed to open a new 4.5% easy access in 2 mins.
Like yourself avoided all id checks.

It does work. I have used it from a Sunny Day Saver account directly to a regular saver. One-off schedule payment (i.e. not as a regular payment/standing order - per Chase)

Have just clarified that withdrawals above £20,000 per day can be increased via a phone call without limit but that limit only lasts for 24hrs, and you still have to make withdrawals in amounts of no more than £10,000 (so 10 withdrawals for £100,000).
Opened account in minutes without any ID checks and £1 test deposit from nominated account appeared instantly.

I used that function earlier this month, and payment was received this week on the day specified.
I think (but I may be confused as I set up a couple of scheduled payments with different providers) but when you select a forward date, it then gives an option to make it a repeating payment - so a standing order.
I don't have a cahoot current account, as there is no requirement. No nominated external account either, you can pay who you want. and pay in from wherever (subject to usual checks and safeguards)
I didn't even know cahoot ever offered current accounts; they now operate as a dedicated savings arm of Santander.

Cahoot - re "I didn't even know cahoot ever offered current accounts"
I still have my Cahoot debit card (expired 2019) with Cahoot cheque book, paying in book and a pile of Cahoot cheque deposit envelopes (used to pay in at a post office)
My "current" account is still there, but suspect it is a savings account now as there is no overdraft facility and they no longer issue me replacement debit cards, not sure what would happen if I wrote a Cahoot cheque, would they honour it?!
