To answer my own question, mine came through a few minutes past noon today for a request submited very early morning yesterday.
Left £100 in there so didn't test it for the 2nd question.

I'm sure many will believe it and in 6 months time LemFi will be flooded with complaints😀

Skipton Building Society Member Bonus Saver (Issue 2) (NLA)
I opened this account in June 2025 but haven't used it. The rate (with bonus) is currently 4.40% (but only up to £5K). The bonus falls away on the anniversary of opening (12th June).
My Cahoot Simple Saver (Issue 10) drops from 4.40% to 4.15% on 11th May. I've had a good run with this account for almost a year. Withdrawals to nominated current account are genuinely instant.
I'm thinking of using the Skipton account (while the bonus lasts) to hold £5K of instant access funds from 11 May to 12 June.
Can anyone advise how quickly withdrawals land in the nominated current account after online instruction?
Thanks.

I’ve always received funds/withdrawals on the same working day but I must have been requesting it before 8pm, as per their current payment timescales. The funds might not arrive in my nominated account immediately but generally within an hour or so. If I’ve requested a withdrawal over the weekend, it was always in my nominated account on the Monday, unless it’s a bank holiday.

from other Skipton accounts i've withdrawn from previously, it's usually less than a hour (if requested before cut-off 8pm weekday - otherwise next working day).
two thoughts…
- my Issue 10 matures a few days after the drop, so I'll be upgrading it to an Issue 16 (4.17% variable) for another year - if still available.
- is using a Sunny Day Saver not an option for you in this scenario ?

Thanks for the replies, very helpful.
I've actually got 2 X Cahoot Sunny Day Savers each holding £3K instant access at 5%. The overspill of instant access funds are held in the Simple Saver.
I've seen discussion about opening more than 2 Sunny Day Savers but would feel that having two is already more than allowed.
I always leave moving funds from instant access to current account to feed Regular saver SO's to the last day, so cutting it fine if there is a delay.
Yes, I'm going to refresh my Simple Saver Issue 10 to Issue 16 on or after 11 May (assuming available)

One thing to note, If I remember correctly… absolutely nothing happens at a weekend/Bank Holiday with Skipton, not even an INTERNAL transfer.

@ Hattie627 - Thought of upgrading your Simple Saver account to
another'Sunny Saver'and also applying for a new Sunny Saver before hand to cover the full £5k between 2 accounts? 😉--**MONEYFACTS**-- FULL List of Money Comparison Products + News / Guides--Personal MSE 2026 Money Saving Challenges:# Regular Savers 2026- New 7/12 - Total: 29 (6)# No.2 Save 1p A Day Challenge 2026 £355.02 / £667.95 (6)# No.4 Save £12k in 2026 - £8492.37 / £12,000 (6)# £10-a-Day Challenge 2026 - £573.56 / £1825 (6)# No.8 Sealed Pot Challenge 19 (24/10) 286.45 / £400 (6)# No.27 - Top Up EP 2 £1105 / £2880 (6).# Decluttering Challenge (6)# No.4 £2 Savers Club 2026 - Completed# No.5 Fiver Friday Challenge 2026 - Completed# Make £2026 in 2026 - Completed# Spectos Mailagent - ReadyMotto: 'SAVE before you spend on Non-essentials'0 -
I was still on issue 71 when I opened the account a few months ago, so just opened issue 74.
Took an hour or so for new account to show, but the option to close and transfer to new was there.
I like the monthly interest option with Charter, but site seems clunky and not keen on the Login compared to Cynergy, so will transfer to them I think as interest is a little better.

Cahoot
Can anyone please confirm if transfers (outward ... to another bank or BS) are still almost instantaneous on a UK Bank Holiday ? Thanks in advance.
