The new login works a lot better than the old Authenticator App.

However, some Cynergy online statements are still misleading. For example…

I had an Online Easy Access account Iss94 paying 4.22%. I recently closed the account and transferred the balance to a new Easy Access account Iss97 paying 4.27%.

If I go to the new account and request a statement, all I get is an empty statement dated 24/2/2025 telling me the account has been closed. The account number on the statement matches the new Iss97 account.

Also Cynergy do not appear to automatically inform HMRC of interest payments via the BBSI reporting system.

@soulsaver - Newcastle BS Base Rate Tracker @ 4.15% can now only be applied for in branch, so I guess no longer qualifies for the Top 10.

Furness - Cannot login and getting incorrect password. Tried passcode and the same! Phoned the contact number and there is a recording saying they are doing an update. Really poor that they can’t put a simple blocking page up. Also don’t believe it’s anything scheduled as nobody does updates by choice at peak times.

@soulsaver - Newcastle BS Base Rate Tracker (Issue 1) @ 4.15% looks now to be NLA, replaced by Issue 2 paying 4.00% AER (Base Rate + 0.25% until 28th May 2027) on £1 - currently available to open online or branch… not quite top 10 though.

also, LVH @ 4.25% has gone NLA.
