deposits, withdrawals and balances only need to be £1 with Secure Trust now - they changed it a few months ago.mebu60 said:
Interesting as that will make Iss 16 higher than Iss 9 from 2/9. I may open and transfer my pittance balance. One hurdle (easily overcome but additional faff) will be if Secure still has the requirement for all deposits to be min £1k but hopefully an initial transfer from a previous issue might be exempt. Has anyone opened a new issue with Secure and funded it with <£1k from a closed issue without a problem?Bridlington1 said:
good spot that #16 is going to be a better rate than #9 - I might move my £1 across!1 -

EDIT: also opening an issue 16, thanks @mebu600 -
Just a reminder that the Tandem rate dropped yesterday, now making them behind the pack. Emptied mine out today and redistributed elsewhere. Big fan of the Investec 90 Day Saver again, giving a good balance between EA and a traditional Fixed.2

Think a 5.2% Trading 212 flex cash ISA might be worth considering given Ulster's is ending in October.

Has Investec participated in the recent interest rate reductions yet?

I don't know if this has been mentioned. Yorkshire BS's Rainy Day Saver account (5.00% variable, limited access) now appears to be NLA in its online variant. But it still seems to be available for branch/postal applications (one wonders for how long).4
