Obviously there to stop the pigeons.

I must be of a 'certain age'...?

I had some issues with Anytime Banking on the web not displaying the account (using Firefox). I deleted all the Ulster Bank cookies, logged back in and the account appeared. Might be worth giving that a go.

Corduroy pillows are making headlines! Back home in London now after 27years wait! Duvet know it's Christmas, not original, it's a cover.

Even as a young child I recall realising that if DD&M just raced they'd win by miles!

    Do I get a medal? :-)

Only issue with Ulster was the verification thing wouldn't work but I assume that was my Adblock as it worked on another browser without.

I've started closing down a lot of accounts elsewhere like Chip etc as they only offer better rates for new customers and don't see many competing for top spot anymore and rates sideways or down from here.

Comments elsewhere on the site are mentioning that rates are (sporadically) starting to edge higher, might just be a few outliers jostling for market share.

Santander  have warned me may lose my 4% edge saver...unless I upgrade to edge saver explorer current account cost of 18 pound monthly you do get benefits dont think it worth it though

Oooerr! Do you have anything like the 123 account as well as your Edge accounts?
    Isn't the edge saver 6%?
It is, but this includes a bonus for 12 months. The underlying rate once the bonus has expired could be 4% depending which issue he/she has.

whilst Santander edge is being discussed, can someone remind me whether or not the edge current account has to have £500 deposited each month inorder to trigger the 6% to be paid on the Edge saver?
