Sorry for the silly question but i cant see the answer. With the Ulster Limited Saver for example you deposit £6000, would you get 4.5% on the whole £6000, or 1.06% on the first £5000 and then 4.5% on the additional £1000?

4.5% on the whole balance as long as the balance is over £5k.

As long as your balance is £5000 or above you will get 4.5% on your full balance.

Checked my Ulster Limited Saver account it still hasnt changed to 4.5%, Anyone else having that issue?

I think it is set by the balance at the end of the last working day (Friday), it did update for me

Being part of the NatWest group I suspect that it will update on Tuesday as their system does!

Anyone else having problems trying to open an account online as a new Ulster Bank Customer?

The process got as far as the document-verification page where it became stuck with a 'trying to connect' icon.

After several minutes I clicked on the browser page refresh.

The system then threw me back to the beginning of the application; all my previously entered details were lost.

Another example of rubbish web design.

Why on earth does the application process want a video of my face in any case?

I am using a desktop PC without a camera!
