I have also looked at the reviews on TrustPilot and there mostly one star reviews with accounts being blocked and poor systems. Many People regretting opening accounts.
I think TrustPilot may be a bit unfair as people only place a review there when there is a problem.
So i just wondered what peoples experiences were on here. Im mostly concerned with accounts being blocked on large deposits or withdrawals?
Even if one does get blocked, it's not the end of the world but it does defeat the instant access nature of the accounts if/when it happens.
NB. I have my voice registered with Santander and used the phone number they have on my profile, so I sailed through ID verification.1 -
Cahoot Simple Saver
I opened a joint simple saver this morning and have been able to transfer a couple of pound in. When I went to try to transfer out it won’t allow me too, either on the Santander app or online. Have tried on both mine and hubby’s account. It gives me a message to say something’s gone wrong and to call them. The thing is I don’t want to call them as they’ll then see that myself and hubby have 12 Sunny Day Savers between us 😂 and they might want to close some down. Has anyone else had this problem? Our other joint accounts are working as they should.0 -

Something slightly different. I have issues 10, 11 and 13. I wanted to upgrade 11 to Sunny Day, but the system wouldn't let me. I can upgrade 10, but 11 and 13 are not on the list. Previously I could upgrade all SSs and SDs of previous issues, I wonder if it is a glitch or I'm missing something. I don't want to call Cahoot for the same reason, don't want to jeopardise my arsenal0 -

as a test, I just went through the first stage of the upgrade process on my simple savers and all were available to upgrade to SDS (1x10, 2x11,1x12,1x13) - so I don't think there is an issue specifically with Issue 11 upgrades - perhaps try it again next week and see if it works then.1 -

I don't know if they have a limit on the maximum number of accounts you hold with them, but could it be that that's been exceeded if they do?0 -
