Their customer service lines stop around 5 PM so I assume cut off is around then, normal working hours.kingboyk said:

Mine is the same. I added £1 earlier, and then made it up to £5000 this afternoon.DRS1 said:
Mine is now showing as 4.41% Gross 4.5% AER - but maybe I added my money earlier in the day so it showed up at close of business on Friday.Rheumatoid said:Just put over 5k in mine and interest rate showing as 1.05%. Presume it will sort itself out on Monday maybe?
The cut off must be quite early in the day as I sent my money over yesterday evening, not particularly late maybe around 7pm, and the interest is showing as standard rate because of my balance at "close of business". I naively assumed they'd check the balance at midnight! I've sent my money back to the accounts it came from and will try again on Monday.
Another annoyance is that I'm not receiving deposit notifications from the app for this new account (but I am receiving money sent notifications for it). I sent £1 to Loyalty Saver and £1 to this account as a test this morning and only got a notification about the Loyalty Saver deposit. Is anyone else getting deposit notifications in the (Android) app for deposits to the Limited Edition Saver?
Anyways great rate and transfers in/out from/to Chase is instant so good enough for me.0 -
If I recall correctly, Ulster Bank's "end of day" is 6.30pm, so it is possible (I did it myself) to withdraw the maximum amount twice on the same calendar day; once before 6.30pm and once after 6.30pm. If you've withdrawn the maximum, that does mean you can't withdraw anything further until 6.30pm the following working day. Helpful if you need to move a large amount on the same calendar day and the destination financial institution considers deposits after 6.30pm as happening the same day.3

Yes you are right. If I remember rightly all withdrawals from 6:30pm Friday to 6:30pm Monday are classed as the same dayCuparLad said:If I recall correctly, Ulster Bank's "end of day" is 6.30pm, so it is possible (I did it myself) to withdraw the maximum amount twice on the same calendar day; once before 6.30pm and once after 6.30pm. I havent been with chase for 8 months. If I start up a new account with them do I class as a new customer? So that I can get the 4.5%0

Chase don't allow those who have previously closed all their accounts to rejoin them.porcorosso said:I havent been with chase for 8 months. If I start up a new account with them do I class as a new customer? So that I can get the 4.5%2 -
True EA entries are easy access savings accounts which can be opened, and pay the headline interest rate, with a minimum balance of no more than £10. These accounts allow unlimited withdrawals. The table includes accounts with time-limited bonus rates and accounts restricted to new customers - but excludes fee-charging accounts, accounts limited to smaller balances, and accounts only available via savings marketplaces. Instant True EA entries are those True EA accounts which advertise immediate deposit and withdrawals 24/7. Highlighted entries show changes since last time: blue for new entries, red for rate reductions, green for rate increases to the respective table.I no longer check the forums as regularly as I used to. If you wish to catch my attention please remember to tag me (@ircE) so I get a notification.10 -
Should the Ulster Limited Edition Saver now be on here? 4.5% var including a 2.75% fixed 1-year bonus on balances over £5k, available to all, immediate deposits and withdrawals. I assume the £5k threshold might be the issue.ircE said:True EA entries are easy access savings accounts which can be opened, and pay the headline interest rate, with a minimum balance of no more than £10. Perhaps worth an 'honourable mention' listing under the table since for anyone with more than £5k it's probably the top choice unless they've not had a Chip account before.0 -
Starling Easy Save dropping from 3.75 to 3.00 on 20 October.
Not leading rate atm anyway, I know. Mines empty.1 -
Ulster Limited Edition Saver
Email received today: Great news - your new LIMITED EDITION SAVER account is now set up and ready to use. Also a welcome message by text containing the account details.
Tried to send a test payment from FlexDirect current account. COP confirms sort code and account number recognised. However, when I attempt to complete the transaction (using card reader since new payee involved) it is rejected on the grounds the destination sort code/account number are unknown. Your account has been re-credited.
