Exactly my thoughts and how I’m taking advantage of the rate I moved my 85k plus out of Chase. Then I’ll see if Chase offer me a bonus once my current bonus ends and my account with them near emptied.KevinG said:
Also, I have decided that Santander is very, very unlikely to go under so while I need a home for over £85,000 I am taking advantage of the interest rate (ISAs already max-ed out).jaypers said:
Yep! Don’t see any downside with Cahoot, aside from slight delays initially getting set up as a new customer……pazza2000 said:
So if on Issue 10, Cahoot is still the best place to instant access save now and likely come 2nd December onwards??mon3ysav3r said:
Yes just had the same message, real shame but suppose it is could be worse (and probably will be in months to come). This makes the Issue 10 AER the same as the Issue 11.janusd said:Cahoot Simple Saver (Issue 10) @ 4.55% (NLA) dropping to 4.40% on 2nd December.
The Issue 9 is dropping from 4.41% to 4.26% on the same day.
3 months notice for rate drops.
True instant access, in and out.
No penalties/restrictions.2 -
Just applied for a Cahoot Simple Saver 4.4% account. How long does it take for them to come back and open up the account?
Also am I allowed to also open up a cahoot Sunny Day Saver? Its possible to have the simple and the sunny? or not allowed?
I'm planning to move all my money from Atom (Which dropped down to 3.99% recently) to this.

As an existing customer the account was opened instantly, as a new customer I can't recall off the top of my head but I think I was fully set up within a week (including receiving a code in the post).porcorosso said:Just applied for a Cahoot Simple Saver 4.4% account. You can hold both accounts simultaneously.2 -
Doesn't Cahoot have an app? When I search in Apple Store I get Santander and nothing in the ones following.0

No app for Cahoot only online banking and telephone banking.schiff said:Doesn't Cahoot have an app? Does need you to register, if you have both Santander & Cahoot accounts you wish to access via the app then it's as well to use two different devices.darren72 said:
Just the regular Santander app - Login as normal with your Cahoot credentials.schiff said:Doesn't Cahoot have an app? When I search in Apple Store I get Santander and nothing in the ones following.2 -
Family BS are reducing their Online Saver (Issue 9) (NLA) from 4.60% to 4.35% on 24th September.
There is a message on the site that "many" of their variable rates will be changing on the 24th September - but i've only received an email about Issue 9 so far... i've enquired about Issue 10 (currently 4.55%) and awaiting a reply, but would expect that to reduce too - sadly.
