got the SDS e-mail today and got the interest from all that I had upgraded, 5 in all at 5%, 3 had expired and I upgrade them just on the off chance0

I've only recently opened a Cahoot SS and SDS. Would someone provide a brief summary of the trick (?) to get more SDSs. TIA0

To upgrade some existing Cahoot accounts to “Sunny Day Saver” see https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6534798/the-new-top-easy-access-savings-discussion-area/p287 there is a button link titled "Upgrade my existing account". If you are new to Cahoot you may not have any old accounts to upgrade.schiff said:I've only recently opened a Cahoot SS and SDS. I had 3 old Cahoot accounts and have a current joint and sole Sunny Day Saver. Just upgraded one of the old account to a new SD Saver. Worked immediately……..no idea if they will do anything but thought I would give it a go.

Not a top one yet but possibly one to open speculatively:
Post Office Money Online Saver Issue 82 now pays 4.13% but includes a fixed bonus of 3.13% for 12 months.4 -
Given the various issues that people had with Post Office accounts, I wouldn’t touch any of their accounts with a barge pole3

Re the Cahoot SDS, I only recently opened one at the beginning of August and my only account with them so far. I notice you only get interest on £3k and now after interest it is £3,009.67 so does that mean I have to withdraw the interest each month? If I decide to open a Simple Saver account, in theory could I upgrade to another SDS?1

Yes, you have to withdraw it every month, anything above £3k won't earn interest.akh43 said:Re the Cahoot SDS, I only recently opened one at the beginning of August and my only account with them so far. Yes, you can open Simple Saver and upgrade it to another SDS.2 -
Thanks, just opened the SS and transferred the interest to that account as easier to keep track of interest received for tax purposes, I may upgrade to SDS at some point, but don't want to do it yet will leave it a few days before doing so.allegro120 said:
