I return with good news - I received a reply to my secure message to Family BS at 7pm...janusd said:Family BS are reducing their Online Saver (Issue 9) (NLA) from 4.60% to 4.35% on 24th September.
There is a message on the site that "many" of their variable rates will be changing on the 24th September - but i've only received an email about Issue 9 so far... i've enquired about Issue 10 (currently 4.55%) and awaiting a reply, but would expect that to reduce too - sadly.Thank you for your messageso for those with Issue 10 @ 4.55%, the rate is not going to change imminently - for me, that means I can move the balance over from my Issue 9 before the date of rate change.
Interest on the online saver (10) account is not currently set to change.
You will still need to transfer £25,000 per day as per the terms and conditions. This is because it is classed as a withdrawal on the account

Cahoot - I’ve just had two email saying they have upgraded my account to a Sunny Day saver issue 5
but all my Cahoot accounts are already sunny day saver issue 5
I don’t want to call they as they might notice I have more than one and close some down
anyone else had the same email?5 -
Me too, was just coming to post the same question.proudgecko said:Cahoot - I’ve just had two email saying they have upgraded my account to a Sunny Day saver issue 5

yeah - I just got 4 from the upgrades I did on the 5th August... concerned for a second when I saw the subject lines, but they're just delayed upgrade confirmation emails - nothing to worry about.proudgecko said:Cahoot - I’ve just had two email saying they have upgraded my account to a Sunny Day saver issue 5

I also notice that there's no way to see to which Sunny Day the email refers (there's no account number or part thereof).1spiral said:

But I guess since you are only allowed one it's self-evident..........1 -
There is something to worry about if you also have the simple saver issue 10, because the unsolicited 'upgrade' email in that case attaches details about issue11, whose current rate is lower, and so if they do in fact transition the account (which they haven’t actually done so far fortunately) it will be a 'downgrade'.janusd said:

these 4 emails were solicited in the sense that I chose to upgrade four existing accounts to SDS Issue 5 (I think 3 were already SDS earlier issues and one was a Simple Saver).... Cahoot are not going to upgrade/downgrade existing accounts of their own choosing - yes, they will reduce the rate of Issue 10 to 4.35% in December, but Issue 11 remains at 4.40% with no notice of any change yet - I have 2 x Issue 11 accounts (nothing in the terms to say you can't have more than 1 - I spent 20 mins checking those terms closely before opening the second)... as I said, absolutely nothing to worry about - if Cahoot want to send a wrong document in an upgrade email, let them - i'm not going to lose any sleep over it.Keith80 said:

Yes, I've received 14 e-mails from Cahoot today. It is a bit strange to receive them today because I've upgraded all accounts on 3rd and 4th August, that's more than a month ago.proudgecko said:Cahoot - I’ve just had two email saying they have upgraded my account to a Sunny Day saver issue 5

I would definitely not call them, unless it is the real emergency.3 -
Has anyone here opened a Sidekick Multi Shield Account? Supposed to be paying 4.48% (which includes a 1% bonus rate for 6 months) on balances between £10k and £85k, but when I was going through the process of setting up an account, the interest terms in the Summary Box were completely different. Sent a screenshot to Sidekick through the app and got a message thanking me for pointing it out and advising that it will be raised with their internal team! Doesn't exactly inspire confidence...
