Just had the email, Ford Flexible Saver down to 4.27% AER / 4.10% monthly from 11th August.
Thanks, I only had email about ISA reducing from 4.35% to 4.18% from the same date. Await the other one. Or not. Only have £1 in Saver, more providers are no longer notifying under a specified amount (c£100). Bit rude considering it only requires an email. Be more understandable if a letter and stamp were used.
I did Ford a disservice, I have just received the Saver email, albeit several hours after the ISA one. It says reduction from 4.35% to 4.18% (in lockstep with ISA) not 4.27%.

    Cahoot
Does anyone have problems receiving OTP's from Cahoot.
I have a fairly good 4G signal but on more than half the occasions that I've requested one, nothing arrived.
Don't seem to have the same problem with other banks.
I can't say that i've ran into OTP problems with Cahoot recently - and I log into there frequently.

worth noting that you can use the Santander app for Cahoot (but only if not already using it for Santander accounts) - you would just need to login with your Cahoot details... it has limited capability, but if all you are logging in for is to check balances, move money between Cahoot accounts etc, then it might be a quicker solution.

Email from Gatehouse Bank today .... The ERG Easy Access account (was the RS) dropping from 4.07% Gross/4.15% AER to 3.83% Gross/3.90% AER on 29 Aug. Only worth keeping to maintain a presence with the Bank?

the rate is shadowing their Easy Access account - which I note for new customers is now 3.90%... when I had both, I normally got notification of a change to the EA account first, and then over a week later, to the maturity account... I don't have the maturity account anymore, but I haven't received any notification of a change to the EA to 3.90% - though it must be on its way.

Re: KRBS closing account (old 10 digit login), do you need to send a secure message to do this? A withdrawal request for the full balance brings the warning 'below the minimum balance of £1, amend the details'. Can't see a 'close account' option anywhere?
in theory yes... but dear God it's a painful and tedious process!  :open_mouth:
I withdrew my balance, bar that £1, last week back to my nominated account and then sent a secure message requesting that that £1 either be paid to my nominated account or transferred to the new KRBS account (with username)... they replied to that *secure message* that I needed to send them a secure message requesting closure - but I had clearly stated that.
so I replied to that requesting again and just now I received the following secure message... it's like trying to get blood from a stone - i'll try a third time, but if that fails, i'll wait for it to be migrated across to the new system!

I will add that it takes them 3 or 4 working days to reply to each message - so if you need it doing quickly, phone them!
Thank you for contacting us regarding your Kent Reliance account.

If you would like to transfer funds into the Bonds and the new Easy access
account Issue - 1 available on our website, the first step would be to
close your current account. The funds can then be transferred to your
    nominated bank account.

Once your account is closed, you can proceed with funding the new account.
Please confirm if you would like to close the account and transfer the funds to the existing nominated account.
on my ongoing mission to close a Kent Reliance account since the 17th July, some information received from them might be of use to others in the future...
Further to your query, we would like to inform you that this is a monthly interest account, and unfortunately, closures cannot be processed on the last two working days of the month as the interest is pre-calculated for the whole month.
Could you please confirm if you are happy to proceed with the closure on 04 August 2025.
so just another week until I get my £1 balance returned.
