I've today moved £25K easy access funds from Chetwood Bank (recently dropped to 4.2%) to a new Cahoot Simple Saver (paying 4.5% up to £500K). No problems with transfer. Money moved overnight from Chetwood to my nominated current account with Santander. More or less instant transfer from there to Cahoot.

I've used Chetwood for easy access funds since circa December 2024. Slow withdrawals (day lag) but otherwise okay with a competitive rate (until now). Expecting quicker withdrawals from Cahoot (part of Santander)

Yes in my experience they happen by the time I log out of Cahoot, and into the destination high street bank website!

Yes, same as Santander, Cahoot transactions are instant 24/7.

Principality BS have announced rate changes on their existing accounts from June 19 - basically, it's a 0.25% drop across the board for those affected accounts.

Having succeeded once to log in to with Progressive via the app, I tried again just now. Got three codes, entered them accurately, three messages 'Invalid code'.
    You couldn't make it up!

I need to log in to Progressive. I will leave it until Monday though as they are doing website maintenance at the weekend which will hopefully fix things?

Re the tiered rates, can anyone confirm please - is it the case that if the balance is above 3,000 the part up to 3,000 earns interest, and the part above 3,000 earns no interest - or is it the case that if the balance is above 3,000 none of it earns interest? Statement says no interest is paid on balances above 3,000 - but don't know if this means the whole balance, or just that part. Thanks

Just the balance above £3k that earns no interest.

Skipton have launched a Bonus Saver Issue 11 paying 4.11%, including a 1.31% bonus for 12 months, min £1, max far in excess of FSCS limit.

May be of interest to those who are ineligible for the higher paying Member Bonus Saver Issue 2, or those who need a home for more than the £5,000 that can be held in that account.
