I think I asked the same question when it was reported here a short while ago. It turned out it was the original EA, not the converted RS account. So now we have both reduced!flaneurs_lobster said:Gatehouse Bank email - rate reduction on the EA RS ISS 2
I thought I had already had this notice, was that for the EA?
EDIT: SJMALBA reported the converted RS EA (ERG) rate drop on 17th Feb. So you (we) have seen it before!0 -
Can anyone with a Kent Reliance easy access account please tell me - if you've paid into the account recently did you get a confirmation text the next morning? I remember quite some time ago the last time I used them they used to do this, but I paid into my account yesterday but didn't receive any text (although the money did show in the account yesterday evening which is quicker than I used to experience as it used to show the next morning). Maybe they have changed their process since the last time I used them.0

interesting that with the EA account we got a full month's notice, whereas with the EA RS2, it's just 2 days notice - though as you say, we were given unofficial notice that the change was coming by a previous post.Bobblehat said:

This is confusing. I’ve got my email today. I thought I was getting 4.75%, but the email says it’s 4.65% going down to 4.27%. Checking I found that my account is paying 4.65% right now. Exact same converted account.flaneurs_lobster said:Gatehouse Bank email - rate reduction on the EA RS ISS 2

it's 4.75% AER going down to 4.35% AER - I assume @flaneurs_lobster is getting their interest annually; if you get it monthly (as I do), then it shows the gross rate, e.g 4.65% to 4.27% in the email... you can change whether you want interest paid monthly or annually in the account details.dgpur said:
