With Tandem dropping today, and if you don't have the current Chase boosted rate, then Marcus might now be one of the higher instant true EA, with a bonus easily renewed.0

True EA accounts are easy access savings accounts which can be opened, and the headline rate earned, from a balance of just £1, and allow unlimited deposits and withdrawals. This table excludes accounts limited to smaller balances, paid-for/premium accounts and savings marketplaces. Instant True EA accounts are True EA accounts which advertise immediate deposit and withdrawal times 24/7. Highlighted entries show changes since last time: red for rate falls, and blue for new entries to the respective table.A lot of declines across the board, of course. Interesting to note that Charter and Tesco have not only not reduced their rate since the last BR decision, but they actually increased their rate in the lead up to it. Goldman Sachs have kept their rates unchanged since August. Charter becomes the top rate true EA account for those not eligible for the Chip boosted rate; Marcus, SAGA and Tesco become the top instant true EA accounts for those not eligible for boosted rates from Chip nor Chase.I no longer check the forums as regularly as I used to. A note about the Kent easy access issue 76, when I opened it I got a "funding instructions" email saying the usual 7 days to initially fund the account, but also:
"Your account opening date will start from the date the initial deposit is received. You will then have 14 days from that date to make any further deposits into your account. After this time, any further deposits will not be accepted."
That limitation was unexpected given the web page said "additional deposits allowed", I did not expect only 2 weeks to fund.0 -

That limitation was unexpected given the web page said "additional deposits allowed", I did not expect only 2 weeks to fund. That appears to be a mistake on their part. The 14 days for further deposits is the Kent Reliance normal term for fixed rate bonds. For easy access there is no such restriction[easy access 76] Additional deposits can be made by cash (only available at our branches), cheque or bank transfer. We do not accept deposits by debit card into your account[fixed rate bonds] Additional deposits are permitted within the first 14 days of the account opening. We do not accept deposits by debit card into your accountNo notice yet of a reduction in interest rates since the base rate cut (same applies to the easy access cash ISA issue 55)I came, I saw, I melted0 -

It'll be a typo, the restriction makes no sense on an Easy Access account. Probably the instructions for one of their bond products.
Give them a call just in case they've introduced a truly novel and useless product.3 -
