where_are_we said:Coventry withdrawal (days earning interest). I hope that applies on non working days ie. over the weekend. I intend to move a large 5 figure amount on Monday March 3 (setting if up on the Friday to take place on the Monday) from the new Coventry 4 access savings account @4.85% to pay for the numerous SO`s going out on that day to fund Regular savers. Am I correct in thinking that this money will arrive in time to avoid overdraft charges with the receiving bank. The banks cut off time is 2pm for money to cover the SO`s.
It will arrive on Monday but in my experience there's a good chance it will be later than 2pm.

Coventry withdrawals
My last two withdrawals from Coventry (one in 2023, the other in 2024), both below £5,000, arrived at 12.17pm and 12.18pm respectively.3 -
Thanks to everyone for your input on a Coventry withdrawal over the weekend. I will have to check on the Monday at 1pm whether the money has gone in.I have a back up plan if it hasn`t gone in. I can withdraw the required amount from 4 Edge Savers and replace that later in the day once the Coventry money goes in.0

Could someone remind me when Gatehouse credit deposits if made over a weekend?
Is it the same day or the first working day..?0 -
Tesco Easy Access.I note 4.3% includes fixed bonus 3.05% for 12 months.Does anyone know what happens thereafter. Is there a way to renew the bonus? Do you have to close the account (if you don't want a paltry 1.25%) and open again?0

@StayinAlive I believe the rate just drops and stays at the base rate. It looks like the 4.30% Tesco rate drops on 19 March as the base rate drops by 0.10% so the Tesco rate would be 4.20% from 19 March. But you can get better rates than Tesco 4.30% (4.20% from 19 March) such as Secure Trust Access Account 4.45%And others such as Coventry at 4.66%
