    Tesco Bank's Internet Saver @ 4.41% (1.25% underlying rate + 3.16% 12-month bonus rate)
An unusual ploy by Tesco Bank here. The 1.25% underlying rate will decline to 1.15% from 19th March i.e. you'll only get the headline rate for the next fortnight, after which it'll be 4.31%, which will still settle above Cynergy, Marcus and Saga's 4.30%.

Thanks. They announced that reduction of the underlying rate on their website around 7th February. But what has changed is that they've increased their 12 month introductory bonus for accounts opened from yesterday (4th March 2025) from 3.05% to 3.16%. If you opened an account during the following dates then that 12 month bonus should be

    From 04/03/2025: 3.16%
    16/01/2025 - 03/03/2025: 3.05%
    26/11/2024 - 15/01/2025: 2.85%
    22/10/2024 - 25/11/2024: 3.05%
    09/10/2024 - 21/10/2024: 3.15%
    27/08/2024 - 08/10/2024: 3.31%
    08/08/2024 - 26/08/2024: 3.36%
    07/06/2024 - 07/08/2024: 3.41%
    03/04/2024 - 13/05/2024: 3.56%
    03/10/2023 - 02/04/2024: 3.50%
So for example if you opened an internet saver between 3/4/2024 and 13/5/2024 then your rate is going down from 4.81% AER (3.56% + 1.25%) to 4.71% AER (3.56% + 1.15%) on 19th March. And the bonus itself will end some time between 3rd April and 13th May.

FBS T&Cs state withdrawals are by faster payment. Is this real time FP or the sort where they hold them all until the end of the day and then process them by FP?

That was good timing for them to launch this, as it will replace my Gatehouse EA account later this month, due to Gatehouse dropping their interest rates.

Yes that's what I thought, I have the Cov BS 4AS at 4.85% but that hasn't been hit following the BoE rate cut, so this FBS one with full access will be useful as it's been introduced after the base rate cut

I cant determine what Cov BS account you are referring to.
If you have the 5 access saver online, that dropped to 4.5% AER from 4th March.

It's a Coventry BS 4.85% 4 access account that was on sale for around a week before it went NLA. Should it drop 0.25% after the next BOE meeting it will still be competitive and ahead of most others.
