According to www.moneyfactscompare.co.uk, Coventry Building Society have now withdrawn their 4 Access Saver (which is currently paying 4.85% AER) and in its place put back on sale their 5 Access Saver (Online) (2) which is currently paying exactly the same interest rate of 4.66% AER (4.66% annually, 4.56% monthly) that it was previously paying a few weeks ago.

[The link to the application buttons and details for the 4 Access Saver that @Expotter kindly first posted on page 171 of this thread was still working at c. 2.50am on Friday 14 February so it may be possible to still apply for this higher paying account if you are very quick!]

The 5 access saver online (2) is now on the Coventry website at 4.66% AER reducing to 4.5% AER on 3rd March
I'm hoping my 4 access saver will be reduced by no more than 0.25%pa which would take it down to 4.6% AER. We will find out shortly.
My 5 access saver (original version) is currently paying 4.75% AER so I suspect this will reduce to 4.5% AER also to match the 5 access saver (2).

They've added this round of changes to https://www.coventrybuildingsociety.co.uk/member/help/member-support/bank-of-england-base-rate.html as PDF

It doesn't show 4 access saver on the list so looks like a great rate for this round.
I was surprised to see that the 4 Access Saver does not appear to be in Coventry's latest list of interest rate drops. I thought it was just me missing it in all the various combinations of account names, so thanks for confirming that you didn't find it either!
It might be that because of them renaming and changing the number of access it is in the list but not easy to find. Updating my spreadsheet is a total mess now.
Also can't find any of the Triple Access Accounts.
Just spent a good deal of the morning updating Mrs Bobblehat's and my spreadsheet too. These rate drops have quite a knock on effect as to where to shuffle money to next! :|
It’s chaos. My spreadsheet is a mess of upcoming reductions, and I’m struggling to decide what my new main driver and back up accounts are going to be. Some banks/bs’s still to declare. Maybe will need to wait until mid March to decide what I do next.
Bank of England has the next meeting on the 20th March and if they lower again, the same will happen again, having to go round and update. I will probably try to reduce the effort by closing a few accounts.

I certainly enjoyed it a lot more investing the time updating my spreadsheet when rates went up.
Yeah! "Practice makes Perfect" is not something I'm looking forward to, in this case!

Absolutely! The triple access became the five access a few weeks back. The four access isa became a six access. Then they introduced new products with different accesses but using accesses they’d previously used. Driving me mad. I moved the isa which went from four to six but with lower rate of interest then they brought in a new one with a higher rate and I think different access. All in a month…spreadsheet becoming a mess I agree.

Is there any update on Marcus, I still have the account which I believe is 4.3%.  Feels like the rest of the pack have been moving backwards so they must be moving upwards.
no change yet - it's been at 4.3% for the last 6 months.
Remember, the Marcus interest rate reduced before the previous BoE rate cut and again afterwards. That's when the interest rate ended up at 4.3%, having been 4.85% prior to the two cuts.

Hampshire Trust Easy Access Saver (Issue 28) dropping like a stone from 4.50% to 4% on 19th March. I only opened it last week to replace Issue 15 paying 4.15%.
The latest Issue 29 is only paying 3.50%

not a top rate, but I know some forum members here like having tracker accounts - Hampshire Trust have a base-rate EA tracker with unlimited withdrawals, Easy Access Online Tracker (Issue 1), that is currently tracking at 0.25% below the base rate, paying 4.25% on balances > £20k.
    • On balances of £20,000 and over, you’ll earn interest on the whole balance.
    • If your balance is under £20,000 at any time you will not earn interest.
    • Interest is calculated daily and paid on the anniversary of the date you met the £20,000 minimum balance, and then annually after this – or on closure if that’s sooner.
    • Withdrawals made before 1pm on a working day will be paid the same day. For anything after 1pm, this will be paid the next working day.
    • The 0.25% margin can be changed, in either direction, with notice.
The rate is slightly less than the equivalent Skipton tracker (NLA) of 4.31%, but this account's tracking seems not to be time-limited, whereas the Skipton tracker only tracks for two years from opening.

They also have a ISA tracker that tracks 0.35% below the base rate.
