Yes, I remember calling them when they went 'app only' and setting up wasn't working, they were very competent and resolved the issue.friolento said:
My easy access Al Rayan account was also sitting at zero for some time and then vanished from sight without warning. They could re-instate the same sort code/acct number within 24 hours when I needed an easy access account to deal with the renewal of a fixed term account. All I needed to do for this was ring them. Their CS was easy and quick to get hold of, and very competent. Mind you, the name of the account is now "Holding Account (Deposits)". It sits there with a zero balance and no interest rate, which suits me fine, as for now I would only use it to move money from/to fixed term accounts.allegro120 said:Received the same e-mail, which reminded me to check if my issue 3 (the only remaining AR account I had) still there. It's not. They've notified that to keep the account opened I need to make a transaction before 18th November, so I did and kept £1 in the account until 20th. That wasn't good enough so I don't have an account with AR anymore. Good to see that the app is still running so if they ever offer anything good it should be easy to apply.
My "Holding Account (Deposits)" has disappeared without warning.0

That's probably because your balance was above £0.pecunianonolet said:

1.50% AER is a bonus rate for the first 12 months from opening, this might explain 4.5%. Not sure where you see it, both of my Edge Savers are showing 6%.stoneman said:I was looking at my Santander Edge saver and it says the interest rate is 4.5%. When did that drop from 61
