My email said they're reducing the underlying rate from 4.25% to 4%.friolento said:
I just had an email from Moneybox to say ISA is going from 5% to 4.75% (including the 1st year bonus) on Dec 17. It was news to me that I am on 5%, especially as the app says 5.16% against my account.Middle_of_the_Road said:
Seems I've jinxed these two accounts.Middle_of_the_Road said:
They've recently reduced other accounts, but this ISA has not been affected. No telling how long it will last, but as your timeframe is two months, you could be ok.ChewyyBacca said:

I have excess £7000 to be parked for 2 months.
4.9% seems to be the best one-any other suggestions?
Any idea when is this rate going to go down in Dec 24?
Trading 212 just revised their rate to 4.9%
Might be holding given that Plum have recently launched one at 5.18%

 Edit:
 Another option for 3k max.
 https://www.cahoot.com/products-and-services/cahoot-sunny-day-saver
Moneybox ISA reducing rate to 4.91% on December the 17th
 Cahoot Sunnyday saver now 4.75%
 Edit:
Moneybox relates to previous issue at 5.16%
No information regarding current issue at 5.17%
With the bonus rate of 0.91% continuing to apply.
we’re writing to let you know that the underlying interest rate on your Moneybox Cash ISA is changing from 4.25% AER (variable) to 4% AER (variable). This change is in response to the Bank of England’s recent base rate decrease.
The new underlying interest rate will come into effect from 17/12/2024 - and you’ll earn it if your account balance is over £500 and you haven’t made four or more withdrawals in your current 12-month period. If either of these apply to you, you’ll earn a lower rate of 0.75% AER.
If you’re also currently eligible to earn an introductory bonus rate, this will continue to apply until it expires.0

And mine goes from 4.7 to 4.45 basic (+0.47%12 month bonus = 4.92%)
I didn't realise there were different issues here0

Ditto. There doesn't seem to be any descriptive difference between these differently rated products other than the rate itself.happybagger said:And mine goes from 4.7 to 4.45 basic (+0.47%12 month bonus = 4.92%)

It seems that Moneybox treat the interest rate they offer from day to day rather like Tesco pricing their products, it's dynamic and reactionary.
 Looking forward to BOGOF.1

My Gatehouse house regular saver matures into an "Easy Access Regular Saver Is1" with 5%. I couldn't find TC for it. Anyone know if it's Easy Access (without monthly limit) or Regular Saver (with monthlylimit)? The name has both 1 1

Welcome to the club of people waiting for the apparently non-existent T&C's! To save you reading through pages and pages on that thread ....qsk said:My Gatehouse house regular saver matures into an "Easy Access Regular Saver Is1" with 5%. I couldn't find TC for it. It's easy access with no restrictions on withdrawals, but it may take a day to receive the funds if withdrawn after 1pm. Minimum balance is £1, you can change whether Annual or Monthly(4.89%) EP and have the EP paid out to your linked account or back into the EA account. You can only deposit from your linked account up to a max of £250K total.
Essentially Gatehouse CS said its just like their regular Easy Access account. Think that covers most of the main points.
Edit: To deposit, use the ERG account code as the reference. You don't get a 9 digit reference number because the account is converted from the RS rather than one you applied for, so no 9 digit code, just the ERG code.6

Nobody knows! Most people have assumed that it's an Easy Access with the same T&C's as their existing EA account but with a higher Expected Profit Rate.qsk said:My Gatehouse house regular saver matures into an "Easy Access Regular Saver Is1" with 5%. My comments are not quite an assumption .... but admit that verbals from Gatehouse CS are a poor substitute for written/published real T&C'sflaneurs_lobster said:
