Morning does trading 212 do savings as well as an ISA I see they've got a interest on cash option. I already have an ISA but thought it might be worth putting a bit in 212. Cheers
They offer access to money market funds within their Invest account if you are willing to take on the additional risk vs a standard savings account, but it's beyond the scope of this thread.
Problem is the have tabs at lead you into Invest which is hard to know where there leading as I don't want them to start pulling money from the ISA, they don't have product summary boxes beforehand.
Anyone know if one can check out the product & after that stage click a button that allows product application to begin in the full knowledge?

Not entirely sure what you are looking for (are you using the app?) but here's a link to loads of T&Cs and other legal stuff from their website

@soulsaver what is the difference between these two entries on page 1 of the "no chat" thread:

    Vanquis EA iss3 4.85% £1k min  (09/11)

Vanquis Bank easy access account (issue 3) 4.85% £1k min (07/10)

apart from the date - did it go down then go back up to what it was before, or something?

Thanks... No it was just a lack of diligence - corrected.
  • That was my fault for posting on the wrong thread.

However, my question remains - has anyone received notification of a planned reduction with the Vanquis 4.85% rate?

    Shawbrook EA down to 4.15%
Just the current issue (40) at the moment by the looks of it - presumably reductions for past issues will be announced soon, but I haven't heard anything yet.
Just had notification that Issue 36 of the Shawbrook Easy Access account is reducing to 4.15% AER on 26/11/24, so presumably other recent issues will be similarly reduced.

It's not been competitive for a while now so I only had the minimum balance in so I could remain a customer, but might now see if I can find anything else suitable amongst their current offerings.

Personally I'm finding Shawbrook pretty uncompetitive recently. All I've got at the moment is a fixed rate cash ISA. Closed a couple of non-ISA accounts awhile back.

With Shawbrook's easy access going down shortly, am considering either moving it to their 9month fixed bond, or moving to another provider's easy access.

Vanquis looks tempting at 4.85% (4.75% monthly), which is the same as an issue of Kent Reliance I still have, that for some reason hasn't gone down yet.

But can anyone confirm whether you have to send docs away / get login details back in the post from Vanquis?
Ideally looking for a new provider like Shawbrook or Kent that you can simply do online instantly.

(Have tried reading around a bit, and can't quite find a definite current answer before the forum police turn up ;))

Regarding Vanquis, i open 90day notice account a few weeks ago.
I didnt have to send any id documents, had to wait a few days for login ID to arrive and another few days to receive nominated account verification code.
You can only deposit from nominated account.

And if you get interest paid monthly - it’s now only 4.07%
