The Bank of England has just
announced a decrease in interest rates from 5.00% to 4.75%.
From today, you’ll earn 3.85% AER
/ 3.78% Gross (variable) interest on your Kroo current account credit
balance.
This change is because we’ve set
our interest rate at 0.9% below the Bank of England base rate, so whether it
goes up or down, you’ll always know what to expect.
Co-op have to give at least 2 months notice of any rate cuts to this account and it has been spared Co-op's latest round of savings rate cuts (comes into effect 22/1/25) so will remain at 4.59% after then.
Just signed up to Trading 212. Very quick to open an account.
