@Floss thank you for your suggestion. I have tried but their offer was not good for me. It was only slightly better than the one I already have and I would have had a 5 year contract. That is a long time commitment and I need to be careful with that, considering the situation.0

Hello everyone,
I have a little up-date: DH has now stopped using credit cards (at least that's what he's saying). I shall give him credit for that.
We are doing baby steps. God help us.

You may want to institute a monthly catch up on finances?
You both sit down with your current credit records, look over your SOA, identify any changes that need making like increases or decreases in costs, end of deals coming up, things paid for that weren't on the SOA like gutter clearance, family emergencies, or things you know are going to rear their head soon. Then you can avoid crises.
Any increases in cards, you pull down the statements to see what happened.
And maybe talk over aspirations to see what you can afford?If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing1 -
