    Nicely done.
Hopefully you can take from it the fact that you have learned quite a lot and gained insights into the way things work.
Sometimes these things can be quite educational.
  • Well done on getting the CORRECT result ,you can move on now with a smile on your face.

Well done, but shame you didn't put in a counter claim for 2 days of your time time.  You could have walked away with a nice £500
    Possibly.
It would be one thing getting a court award.
    Another actually getting the money.
absolutely but would have messed with their credit score big time.  Would have been worth it just for that

Thank you everyone. My relief was short lived, the wife posted a string of abuse on a mutual group we are on, saying I'm a liar, that I only won by default cos her husband couldn't make it due to his job, (we both had to give available dates to the court in advance and holidays can of course be requested from employers especially with 3 months notice) she said this isn't the end of it and her husband is going back to the courts. I'm 70 this year I really don't need this but they won't give in.
Obviously I'll keep you posted.  Let the stress continue...x
I forgot to say the group admins are my camping friends and they removed her barrage of insults.....however I got screenshots of them all, 7 in total.

If you know the admin then ask them to block the from the group.  It's starting to sound like harassment so I'd be tempted to report it to the police as you are vulnerable as they know your address and you are now fearful of what they might do.
agree - they need to be out of that group. they had plenty of chance to turn up on the day or get a day they could manage. they clearly have problems that aren't going to be quickly solved.

..I would ignore the "back to the courts" comment..that is clearly not going to happen now, they are just trying to wind you up.....time to ignore, forget and move on. Some people are just "8 holes", but that's just life unfortunately,,,

They had their chance and blew it - you have the law on your side.
Presumably you can block/ignore them on the camping site?
