Newbies/FAQ thread tells you what an LoC or LBC looks like. DRP are useless debt collectors. Ignore.

  • Can I just ask whether I would be at risk of a CCJ with this particular case? If so, how do I best navigate moving forward to avoid this happening? Essentially, is my case likely/a close guarantee to winning if it went to court? I realise noone can guarantee but based on this forums experience with similar cases. Thanks for any thoughts or responses.

Every person who follows our advice is at zero risk of a CCJ.

Losing at a hearing (and paying - LESS than the claim) obviously doesn't leave you with a CCJ otherwise nobody would ever defend a small claim!

But that's the same as the one in the pictures in the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread. Take a look. We don't need to see these letters.

...... and there are two clues in the letter, it's from DCB Ltd not Legal and gives 14 days to reply.  Proper letter of claim gives 30 days, all as explained in the NEWBIE sticky.

    Hi everyone,

The day seems to arrived and I've just my letter of claim (8 days after the date of arrival mind you). I guess they really want to try and spook me. Are DCB Legal a common solicitors in parking charges?

No claim form attached. Reading the newbies page I believe I need to search up DCB and look for an email of their solicitor? I then reply using the template provided?

Do I have that all correct so far?

    Thanks everyone
