Sadly no such email here, that sounds nice!1

It seems random. There's a thread about it and another offer for using the card. No idea how they choose who to email. My husband and son haven't had anything.1

Got the first £5 in earlier this morning. Expect the other £5 either later today or in the next few.0

Does anyone who used topcashback for to open the account already have the payment confirmed? Mine still shows as pending.

@MABLE
I tried chasing mine up, but got a pretty generic response
"Evening,
I can see that this transaction is currently running at the pending status, this means that we are awaiting a response from the retailer. As when you shop through TopCashBack & place an order with a retailer, the retailer is then responsible for processing your order details and declining/approving your cashback.
This can take a while as retailers need time to process your order and decipher if you are eligible for cashback or not, as per their terms and conditions. Once the retailer has approved your cashback, the status should change from 'pending' to 'confirmed' and eventually 'payable'.
We cannot provide a concrete date as to when this may progress, this is as your order is processed by the retailer and not us, which is why we try to give an "estimation", however as this is an estimation we do advise our members not to take this timeframe as gospel.
We do have a dedicated transactions team who do actively try and chase up any transaction that has not been validated. So if we do see any change to this transaction it will be reflected on your account.
Best wishes
Amber,"1 -
Also just to flag to anyone else that was using the £1 Amazon gift card top up facility to meet the debit card usage criteria - as we know Amazon said last month that the minimum top up amount was increasing to £5, however they had still been taking £1 daily amounts on my acct since then, but, that appears to have stopped on my account this week. Shame, as I had hoped it might continue long enough to get me through to the new year, but looks like will need to look for the best alternative for Nov and Dec.
Just highlighting, in case anyone else is still using the facility but hadn't checked it recently, as it looks like they have/are closed/ing the loophole...0 -
Trading 212 still allow £1 daily debit card credits. Free shares for signing up via a referral link too.2
