  • My Quidco cashback just declined yesterday. Be interested to hear from any others re TCB vs Quidco and confirm/decline for this offer!

I tend not to use Quidco these days, if their rate is higher than Topcashback I just use the TCB highest cashback guarantee - as I did with TSB.
Put in a claim against it being declined. See what they say.

Yep I already put a claim in this morning after seeing the decline.  I use both Quidco and TCB - haven't found much difference between them really, both have a tendency to randomly decline claims at times. Sometimes they then pay out, sometimes they don't!

Got my £30.30 confirmed today also. TCB, but matched Quidco.

I tend to go TCB. Quidco used to be good. But now they are really slow to track and confirm.
  • My Quidco cashback declined - but I think I only complied with the switching terms rather than the quidco terms also - d'oh!
  • I wondered about that too however I saw the currently listed Quidco terms (incl £500/month pay in) were last updated mid-October so didn't think they applied at the time.  Does anyone have a note of the TCB and Quidco ones from back then?

The above is a screenshot of TCB's terms when this offer started on 23rd May. I think it's always been necessary to pay in £500 for 3 of the 4 months after you've opened your account.

Couldn't find a screenshot for Quidco unfortunately, but I think the terms were/are the same as for TCB.
  • Oh, damn - thanks @danny135 ☹️ Would have been dead easy to do the pay in too, the debit payments were covered by the 20/month too. Frustrating they had different terms for the two offers!
  • Just open a new Spend and Save account via TCB and do your £500 per month and 2 debit payments as in the T&Cs (assuming they're the same). I always have 3 Spend and Save accounts on the go. After I get my £5 on month 6 it becomes a burner account and I open a new one, though you can only get the TCB cashback once.
  • Oh nice one, interesting!
