  • Just open a new Spend and Save account via TCB and do your £500 per month and 2 debit payments as in the T&Cs (assuming they're the same). I always have 3 Spend and Save accounts on the go. After I get my £5 on month 6 it becomes a burner account and I open a new one, though you can only get the TCB cashback once.
Interesting, it never occurred to me that you could have more than one. You could claim quidco once too.

I see current T&Cs have the below (bolding mine):

You will be eligible for the TopCashback cashback if you open a new TSB Spend & Save current account, you don’t have any other existing TSB current accounts and: 1. Within the first 90 days of your account being open you register for Internet Banking, paperless statements and paperless correspondence 2. Keep your account open for at least 120 days 3. In three out of the first four calendar months after you’ve opened your account: (a) Pay in at least £500 each month (b) Make at least two debit payments out of your account each month As an example, if you opened your account in June, you would have to pay in £500 and make two payments out of your account in three of the following months;  June, July, August and/or September.

Not sure if they've tightened up? Quidco & TCB both say the same.
  • That was there before too. Not sure how strictly they enforce that part, but you could switch out your S&S account after you've received your bonus to another bank, or wait until the 6 months are up so you also get your 6x£10, and after it's closed (assuming you only have one set up) open a new one via TC.

Of course they could withdraw it from TC by then, but it's been available for a long time.

Hi all, not sure if it had been mentioned on here already (honestly I forgot about this thread as I finished the TSB switch ages ago but have kept the account until a new switch comes along) but there's currently an offer of £5 cashback when you pay in £750. That's it, that is the entire requirement. This was advertised in the app a while ago and only applies to October, November and December so if this hasn't already been mentioned, aplogies for the late post! Pay in £750 and the following month you'll get £5, so if some of you still have open accounts to finalise/wait for some payments, maybe have a go. If this has already been mentioned then ignore it! :p

Thanks @Ponchos - haven't seen it but will give it a go! Still kicking myself for not realising the extra £500pcm requirement of Quidco, oh well!

It was invite only, and I have no idea how they chose who to offer it to. I'm getting it but husband and sons are not. One already gets his salary paid in so I suppose they don't need to give him an incentive.

Strange if it was invite only, I had only stopped using the account for about a month when I saw it. But it wasn't advertised much I dont think, there was a message in the app, one of those small promotional thing below your account on the main screen of the app, and it wasn't on the website for long. The qualifying requirement is to deposit £750, so if that's the only thing it might be worth transferring the money in and out of the account just on the off chance. IF your account will be open until January anywa, that is.

Appears it was invite only. Some got the £5 for depositing £750. Others £10 for 20 card transactions

Nice one, I couldn't find the information online at all. And good shout at it being invite only, I haven't seen anything about the £10 for 20 transactions. Good find.
