TSB - £5 cashback a month for the rest of the year

Just been sent this email from TSB

*Terms and Conditions:

Please read these terms and keep a copy for your records.

1. To be eligible for cashback, you must be the named recipient of this email. You must have a TSB current account which cannot be a business account. You must be 18 or over and a UK resident. We’ll have sole discretion on whether eligibility requirements have been met.

2. This offer starts on 1 October 2024, and ends on 31 December 2024. You can earn cashback in October, November and December only.

3. To earn £5 cashback each calendar month in October, November and December, you’ll need to pay a minimum of £750 into the account referenced in this email in each of those months. The payment must not be transferred from another TSB account.

4. Your TSB current account must be open when the cashback is paid. We won’t pay cashback after your account is closed, even if you qualified for cashback.

5. If you don’t pay in a minimum of £750 in a month, you won’t earn cashback for that month.

6. If your account is in joint names, you need to pay in £750 between you, not each.

7. £5 Cashback will be paid to your account by the 20th of the next calendar month. For example, for the minimum £750 paid into your account in October 2024, cashback will be paid by 20 November 2024.

8. TSB has the right to withdraw, alter or replace this offer at any time without notice.

Not bad really, I already pay in £500 a month as part of the terms for the TCB cashback. So another £250 in and out is fine to stack on top of the £10 I get as part of the switch incentive.

Now that very odd, I’ve just had an email from TSB offering me £10 a month to the end of the year if I use my debit card 20 times per month. I know that’s double what you would get but it’s a lot more hassle.

I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.
  • got the same but £10 for 20 transactions, might have considered it had I not already started a switch to Nationwide.
  • I got the fiver email but my husband and son got nothing.

Using existing customers for A/B testing for a new offer to launch next year?
  • I'm already getting a bonus for using my card 20 times a month for my first 6 months as a customer so it makes sense to give me the other offer. I had been paying in 500 for the topcashback offer.

Lol how the hell did you get a Greggs from first direct
  • I got the £10 offer, just for using my debit card 20 times per month. Now I thought maybe it's because they wanted me to use the account more, I use it sparsely. But my wife has one too, she uses her regularly and got the same £10 offer.
  • Got the £10 for 20 debit card uses offer as well. The last time they did that I put 20 £1 payments into my NS&I saving account. Bit of a hassle but £10 iis nice.
