Received Nationwide text to say switch complete. How long does it usually take to receive the text saying whether have qualified for the £200 or not?0

Thanks. I was the same as you in having previously benefited from the switch incentive after August 2021 but having since closed that current account and switched into a new one this time…..so hopefully should qualify.MABLE said:

Applied for my switch and all seems to be going through. Should be done for 4th July.
Is it ok to transfer my direct debits out of the account once I have bagged my £200? I really need to put them in another account.0 -
Once you've got the £200 you're free to do what you like with the DDs.VXman said:Applied for my switch and all seems to be going through. Should be done for 4th July.

I do not understand that they gave me the £200 incentive but when i asked about the 5% interest on the flex account they said because I had a flex account previously I did not qualify because in August 2021 I had an incentive then and because I closed my account in January 2024 I do not get the enhanced interest rate.0
