    Was the account where you received your Aug 21incentive still open?

    Was closed in Jan of this year.

    My switch completed on 6 June but still not had any text to say if I've qualified or not  :/

    But like in this thread from me and others, there were issues filling in the info for the card number, and the lad on the phone said he would do an exceptions form, and I was not the first person experiencing that problem. 

    Going to call them now and see what they say

    EDIT - Just called, and they can see he did an exceptions form so they will flag it with the team and hopefully resolve it in a couple of days they are saying. Very helpful and the like, but hardly filled with confidence they do it properly and well. 


    Same for me, complaint lodged.
    3/5 days to respond.

    Might possibly have stood a better chance had I set up a new Nationwide current account, instead of switching into my existing FlexDirect account.
    Now to transfer a couple of DDs from the FlexAccount back to Chase, whence they came, for potential future use.
    Have already switched accounts from Chase twice though, and wondering how many switches it's possible to get away with before they get hacked off.

    I tried opening a second current account and switching, fully expecting to not get paid. Got the same message as you. My other current account is one I've held for years and has previously been paid an incentive, although from  later comments from others it seems this probably doesn't matter either way if the account was still open or not. Ultimately seems that Nationwide is doing a decent job at making sure people don't get an incentive when they shouldn't, unlike other banks!

    As for Chase, I've done 6 or 7 switches so far - haven't had any issues yet! I'm not too fussed if they get annoyed though.

    My switch completed on the 11th of Jun and I got a text yesterday to say I was eligible for the incentive, which was also paid yesterday. Easy £300 in one week, not too shabby. Will switch the FlexDirect acct to Co-op, that's another £150, albeit half of that requiring more work. Not leaving them though, as Nationwide FlexPlus is my second account, for insurance and traveling abroad.

    My switch to Nationwide was completed on Wed 12th June and the £200 was paid into my FlexAccount on the 15th.

    Has anyone who received a bonus since 18 August 2021 tried for this latest offer and been successful?

    I I was successful in getting the £200 bonus, even though I had got the bonus in August 2021 However, I had close the Nationwide account in January of this year and applied again for another current account at the time that you switch off was announced.
