For info, for those trying to work out when they last had a Nwide switch incentive and whether they're eligible for this one:
Nwide's cut-off date for this one is 'since 18th August 2021'.
That coincides with the Nwide switch incentive scheme then, which was £125.
Mrs Z-man and I got 3 x the £125 between us, a personal account each plus a joint, paid in Sept and Oct 2021. So we are ineligible.3 -
Does this only work if you have an existing account? I have my own account and am eligible for the £100 but I also have a joint account with my partner but my partner doesn’t have any other accounts other than the joint one with Nationwide. Will they be able to open a Nationwide current account and switch in their account elsewhere to get £200 if they are already classed as a member?0

Nothing in the terms to exclude new accounts, so long as you (or at least one joint account holder) was a qualifying member on the last day of March. The page linked above even links through to pages offering new accounts.

topic should say existing members only if that's the case0

It definitely IS the case. It's an offer for existing ('qualifying') members:You’re a qualifying member if either you or the person you have a joint non-Nationwide bank account with had a Nationwide current account, personal savings account or residential mortgage on 31 March 2024.

I've obviously had the same. I've an email saying your chosen switch date is 1/9/21.0 -
I'm quite tempted by this. The Halifax has just upped it's account fee so I'm looking round for a switch to a similar account that offers travel and breakdown insurance. The £13 monthly fee will only save me £1 a month - but the switch incentive looks good.
I've already got a Nationwide no-fee flex account that I use for day-to-day spending, because I like having two accounts just in case there's a problem with one of them. I'm wondering if I go for this switch, will I end up with two Nationwide current accounts (one no-fee and one £13p/m)? If this is the case can I use the no-longer-required no-fee account to switch to another bank - so I'd have two current accounts with different banks?0 -
