I rang for clarification as my switch completed on the 5th.
No coms since I started the switch, other than the first text.
The call handler said she has had lots of people ringing to find out what is going on.
I was told my bonus should arrive by Monday the 17th.
    Not very impressed so far.

But I don’t care as will start a formal complaint and keep harassing them until the end of time.  B)
Cost of calls, time on phone, petrol, parking cost and time visiting bank, using money from another bank to cover bills
    as I’m £200 short etc.
Compensation bill is adding up nicely  :D .
    Ps, I love a complaint.

How do you know the switch completed on 5th if you only have the initial text. T&C says paid within 10 calendar days but on past experience you get a postal letter saying completed.

Started mine yesterday and had an email confirming the switch and dates involved. So have my reference points.

Have they messed up your DDs, how are you £200 short?

I suppose they'll say relying on the £200 to pay for something, but had to use savings. Or to cover the DD, doesn't mean they have to be messed up.

Got second email today. So it looks like any problems at the start of the offer period have been ironed out.

Anyone had issues getting a FlexDirect or FlexAccount before? I used to have bad credit issues but it's been sorted for a while, I have a FlexBasic currently but no issues with any switch offers with other banks. Live chat wasn't much help and said I could go into a branch to see the reason why and to see if they can do anything. Seems a bit strange. Also been a member with them for 5 years, never gone overdrawn etc

TSB screwed up a few years back with their new software,
Each part of the complaint was worth about £100.
Used another bank for payment £100 comp.
    DD not paid £100.
Will find out about DD as is due on the 13th.

    £200 switch bonus missing.

Still no update on switch bonus. I completed on the 5 June.  I went into the local Nationwide branch on Saturday and the advisor said it takes up to 21 days.  If that is the case why did a few posters on here receive their bonus in a few days after  completing the switch.

I was advised on the original text from Nationwide I would receive a further text to advise whether I am met the criteria shortly afterwards.

I'm in the same position, but completed on 6th June.

I have 3 savings account with Nationwide, 2 of them have 0p in, and one has 5p.
I tick the boxes required, but I'm ready for them to 'try' to wriggle out of paying, as I'm not a particularly active member of theirs.
Just had the text message to confirm I've qualified and to expect the £200 within 10 days

They have just text me to say I don't qualify as I didn't do it through one of their channels required (I assume they mean online).

But like in this thread from me and others, there were issues filling in the info for the card number, and the lad on the phone said he would do an exceptions form, and I was not the first person experiencing that problem.

Going to call them now and see what they say

EDIT - Just called, and they can see he did an exceptions form so they will flag it with the team and hopefully resolve it in a couple of days they are saying. Very helpful and the like, but hardly filled with confidence they do it properly and well.

I had a conversation with them and said I do not qualify because of switch into my ca in Aug 2021.

Also said I do not qualify for 5 petcent interest because I needed a Flexdirect account.  However I do have this account.  This is semi  AI for you
Just received text to say I qualify and will get payment in 10 days.  Surprised bearing in mind my previous message.

Was the account where you received your Aug 21incentive still open?

Not surprised to receive this text today:

As you or another account holder have already received a switch offer payment, you haven’t qualified for the switch offer ending 2DQN

Might possibly have stood a better chance had I set up a new Nationwide current account, instead of switching into my existing FlexDirect account.
Now to transfer a couple of DDs from the FlexAccount back to Chase, whence they came, for potential future use.
Have already switched accounts from Chase twice though, and wondering how many switches it's possible to get away with before they get hacked off.
