Nationwide £200 switch offer 23/5/24-4/7/24

my OH completed a switch on the 7th and has not had ANY communication at all, not even a "your switch is complete". is this others experience?0
-
Mine completed Friday, and I had a notification to say the switch had gone through.
No other comms or mention of the incentive that day, so I asked on the chat on the app, and was told it could come through anytime so left it. No text yesterday so I asked on the chat again (because if for any reason I didn’t qualify though I am sure I do, I’d switch elsewhere). They said as far as they can see I qualify and will get the payment. So looks like it’s a waiting game for the 10 days.0 -

I'm in the same position, but completed on 6th June.CRISPIANNE3 said:Still no update on switch bonus. I completed on the 5 June. I went into the local Nationwide branch on Saturday and the advisor said it takes up to 21 days. If that is the case why did a few posters on here receive their bonus in a few days after completing the switch.
I was advised on the original text from Nationwide I would receive a further text to advise whether I am met the criteria shortly afterwards.
I have 3 savings account with Nationwide, 2 of them have 0p in, and one has 5p.
I tick the boxes required, but I'm ready for them to 'try' to wriggle out of paying, as I'm not a particularly active member of theirs.
What makes you worry? The entire point of the offer is to incentivise members who don't use them much to use them more.

Nationwide's terms state that if you qualify, your £200 will arrive within 10 calendar days of your switch completing:

I had a conversation with them and said I do not qualify because of switch into my ca in Aug 2021.
Also said I do not qualify for 5 petcent interest because I needed a Flexdirect account. However I do have this account. This is semi AI for you0 -
It does. But the text they sent when the switch starts says they’ll text you to let you know if you qualify. Which hasn’t arrived, hence the checkingHHUK said:Nationwide's terms state that if you qualify, your £200 will arrive within 10 calendar days of your switch completing:

Yes - RBS - just has the last 4 digits - not 5.badger09 said:
Do you use the mobile app for your donor account? If so, many (not sure if all) will let you view your debit card details.VXman said:Dam! Whilst waiting for my direct debits to move over I thought I'd start the switch and request it for a month's time.
I'm in France and don't have my donor account debit card on me! I have access to the last 4 numbers but not 5!!! What's the chances of this offer being pulled before end of June?0 -
You should be able to view the whole number - tap the account, then 'Manage my card...' then 'See card details'.VXman said:

Thats what I thought. At least, I can see mine for Lloyds, BoS & Halifax. Haven’t bothered checking all my current accounts thoughWillPS said:

I rang for clarification as my switch completed on the 5th.
No coms since I started the switch, other than the first text.
The call handler said she has had lots of people ringing to find out what is going on.
I was told my bonus should arrive by Monday the 17th.
Not very impressed so far.
But I don’t care as will start a formal complaint and keep harassing them until the end of time.
Cost of calls, time on phone, petrol, parking cost and time visiting bank, using money from another bank to cover bills
as I’m £200 short etc.
Compensation bill is adding up nicely
.
Ps, I love a complaint.
