    Just checked… the £200 is in my account … I think that’s officially my fastest ever switch/ bonus! Applied on 23/5/24 switch completed 4/6/24, bonus paid 5/6/24… im impressed!!!

    Opened a new account and switched, knowing that I should be ineligible. Switch completed yesterday. Just gotten a SMS to let me know I'm not getting the incentive, as expected. Seems they are on the ball this time around!
    Assume you were ineligible due to having already received a switch bonus from a switch post AUG 2021 - do you still have the current account open that you switched into when you did get the bonus? If you don’t then that does not augur well for my chances!

    Does anyone know for sure the DDs need to have been taken before? I have 2 now showing in Chase app under direct debits but both show pending still. Just wondering if I should wait until the first payment is taken or not before applying and starting the process?

    I opened a brand new account this time around, but I do also still have the same customer profile with an open current account I have previously switched into.

    Thanks. Think the same customer profile is ok but that before starting the new switch you would have needed to have closed / switched away the current account that you previously switched into.

    That’s exactly what I did and closed the ca in Jan 24.  Just waiting now.

    I've opened a second Flex Direct and scheduled a switch for next week for a punt. My 'member since...' date in the app is after I last had a sole account so maybe enough time had passed. I'll report back! 

    Definitely eligible for cashback so it's just the 5% interest I'm taking a chance on.
    I sent £1000 to this new account today and asked on the chat what the interest rate was as I can't see it anywhere in the app or online banking. 

    The agent said it is showing as 5% so happy days, will check when the interest is due on the 1st.

    I've scheduled my switch for next week so nothing to report there yet.

    Letter dated 5 June 2024 (switch completion date) received in the post from Nationwide today, confirming said completion.
    Am yet to receive promised text to say if I've qualified for the switching offer. Not really expecting to get the incentive this time round, having had the £125 bonus in September 2021.
    The letter received today tells me that my new current account s ready to go, then that my current account switch is complete and i can start using my new account whenever I'm ready.
    However, it is not a new account. I chose to switch from Chase into the FlexDirect account I set up in August 2021.
    Just hoping that if their systems don't pick up that it's not a new account, they may also not register that, according to the terms and conditions, I have received a switching incentive too recently to benefit from this one.
