I have the switch iOS app and it says about setting up the £1 adds on switchtracker site. Will that suffice doing 2 of those for the DDs?

Also the savings account I have had one when it said, anything about it needing money in? As it’s empty

another question - if I’m setting up 2x £1 DDs do I need to wait until a payment is taken first ? Or just until they are showing on my account but prior to a first payment being taken?

Live DD, so until its been taken I would say its not live, I could be wrong.

The Nationwide terms say the incentive is for existing customers.
Is their expectation, then that you'll switch into your existing Nationwide account, or would  it all work with opening a new, second Nationwide account, too?
It's more possible, I think, that opening a new account may "by-pass" their requirement to not have had an incentive since 18 Aug 2021

Nothing I can see in the terms forbids opening a new account and benefitting, so long as you were an eligible member on the relevant date in 2024.

I have a RBS account that I'm not using so i could use this as a donor for the switch. However it has no DD's on it. So I will need to switch some DD's from another account to RBS. Will I need to wait for payments of these DD's to be actually taken from the RBS account before I switch it or will just waiting for them to be on the account be enough?

Coming back to the DD question. I now have two showing on my Chase again as scheduled. Does anyone know if that will suffice, or need to wait until they have been taken and are active/live before doing the switch?

My current account with NW is flex basic, not sure if that is eligible to switch into or I’ll need to open a new one (flex direct for example)

Has anyone completed the switch yet? How long after that the SMS advising whether you qualify or not arrived?
    Thanks,
    .

You need to switch into a FlexAccount, FlexPlus or FlexDirect account - FlexBasic isn't eligible.
