I found this thread after ordering a BillyOh Lincoln shed from Kybotech and it instantly worried me, for obvious reasons.... so far I've had a good experience.
Shed was ordered on Wednesday evening and they rang on Thursday to say they were delivering today (Friday). They arrived at 8am on the dot and the delivery guy helped me take the shed in bits through the garage to the rear garden.
I haven't put anything up yet, but all the bits are there and it's as described - tongue and groove 11mm thick walls and solid floors / roof.
It probably won't be the world's best quality shed but for what I paid I think you can't go wrong so long as you prep the area well, and flat - most sheds won't fit together without a flat base.
I will update this thread when I have put it together, but so far so good.0 -
So, after a weekend of solid graft the shed was up. Quality was average and the roof/doors seemed to slant so I had to do some manual cutting of the doors so they appear to fit well.
I'm not sure why this was, but perhaps my base wasn't dead level. Even a very slightly wonky base would cause alignment issues.
Some of the frames to each side weren't exactly matching up - say 2mm or 3mm out, but this is what I expected for the price. All of the materials are fine, I chose to "creocote" the underside base and paint the shed and also use adhesive on bits of the roof rather than tack everywhere. The shed is now solid, protected and I'm very happy.
The only bit I was a bit disappointed with were the doors - they don't have a substantial frame around them and feel flimsy. I would have also liked some more cross bracing on the sides which could have helped with the skew / slanted doors.
The service I received was very good.0 -

SpammyTheSpammer - this seems to be 'happy customer' number two!
I see by your web links that you have been trying to find more of these elusive characters.
Good luck, they are a very rare breed indeed!0 -
Yup - these are so rare that they resemble Rocking Horse Dollops.
But it IS nice to find one of the rare 97-percenters (allegedly).I am a cow so cannot speak Bullshine but I do recognise its smell when I come upon it.0 -
I ordered and received within a few days the BillyO Storage shed. So far so good.
Now, I'm not the best DIY'er but thought I shouldn't have to much trouble assembling it, even though I thought the instructions were a bit ambiguous.
Unfortunately, the side panels and back panel are very bowed, to the extent that in some places the screws barely reach through.
I noticed after taking it apart again and putting it back in the garage, that there are some"finishing strips" that I believe you nail on afterwards to cover any gaps, but I can't believe the gaps should be this big!
I telephoned and emailed Kybotech yesterday (on the correct number and email address) but I guess they're closed Sat PM and Sunday.
I await their reply.
I was even thinking of maybe paying for installation, but they want nearly £100 and don't cover my area anyway.
Will update when I hear from them.0 -
tonysat - I wouldn't hold your breath!
I had to make so many alterations to my workshop shed when I got it as the majority of materials used were very poor in quality and didn't fit properly anyway. Things had to be sent back, items were missing ........ I could go on and on..........
Needless to say, I will be very surprised if you get a promt reply and solution to you problem from the Kybosh comedy company.0 -
Surprise, surprise. I did get a reply within a couple of days asking for photographs of the "bowed" parts. They then cam 3 days later collected the faulty parts and delivered replacements.
Now comes the fun part.
It finally stopped raining last weekend and me and the wife set it all up completely, and put some things from out garage in it. (We are getting a garage conversion soon and needed the shed to store stuff) including 4 wooden fold up dining chairs.
An hour later it p'd down for nearly 24 hours. Hail etc.
Sunday afternoon I went to get the chairs out, as we had family coming to dinner, only to find the door had swelled, so that I have to open both doors together and wedge them together to close it. Not only that but the floor was soaking wet as were the chairs.
My missus was so p'd off she said "Get them to come and dimantle it themselves and give us a full refund" ;-))
I emailed kybotech saying that surely the purpose of a shed was to be outside and to keep the things inside, dry. They replied quickly once again asking for photos.
I will be taking and emailing some tomorrow.
Will keep this updated.0 -

Most people don't realise they are buying from Kybotech when they order stuff from Garden Buildings Direct, Flaming Barbecues, etc etc

Just a note to maybe reasure anyone who's ordered a Waltons et al product and then found this forum :- Ordered 2 tongue and groove 7x3 bike sheds on Mon 14th Dec to provide storage whilst extending our childrens day nursery, flat packs arrived 1st thing Tuesday 15th and son erected both sheds yesterday (17th). All parts, including felt and "free" treatment present, assembly required some trimming but otherwise OK and sheds look absolutely fine now erected - not bad for the price. I was considering a log cabin at about 1/3 of the price found locally but will now visit Waltons in person with a flat bed to personally select and collect if I decide to buy. Cheers, Vox0
