Erm - I am just an ordinary punter who did a search on Kybotech when it came up on the invoice for the log cabin. And look what I found, the 2 or 3 % unhappy customers having a cracking rant!!

I guess the company has improved over the last couple of years - get over it.
    Erm......Of course you are

Sadly your seriously outnumbered on dissatisfied customers, not just on this forum - get over it ;)

  • well my first post here, but hoping my post will help others.

I am currently trying to buy a log cabin for my garden, and thought i had stumbled across a winner with simply garden furniture, the only thing i had to do was pay and confirm a delivery date as i move house next week.

I rang the sales line on the way to my car at lunch time, and the phone was answered within four rings. I told the person at the other end i was interested in purchasing a log cabin, he then said "which one". I said, i;m not sure of the exact model, but know the dimensions (bearing in mind there are only five or so on the entire site) and i went on to ask about the delivery date. At this point he started getting mildly stroppy (only a little, but enough for me to notice) saying that he couldnt do anything if i didnt know the model number, and that the delivery was nothing to do with him - that department would contact me and arrange delivery he couldnt help. At that point i decided to cut my losses and told him not to worry about it.

My point here i guess, is that if they cant even be bothered to try and help you out at point of sale, then it paints a pretty grim picture for the rest of the business. It was only when i started looking at the Billyoh website and realised all the companies were interlinked that i stumbled across this thread.

In a way i'm glad things have happened this way, as it seems i have saved myself considerable pain in the long term, however I am still in the market for a log cabin (I have a budget of £1200) so would appreciate any recommendations!!

Love it when "plants" join in the forum posts. Makes for great entertainment!

They are so obvious it's hilarious! Do they really think ppl will believe them?!?!?

I bought a log cabin from Kybotech, about 2K cheaper than from the garden centres

I'll get my contact to find out who exactly NICK I is at Kybotech. It will be just like CIMIMOD all over again.

probably the same person using the name Kybotech, i find it good when some companys post on here (as they actually solve problems), but in this case i find it very sleezy.
  • Your research into my supposed work place will not be fruitful I'm afraid. Just to let you know that the log cabin is still standing and being well used. It looks very pretty now it has been painted. Come and have a look if you are in sunny Hampshire.

All the best with your forum. Keep it real and FAIR and give companies credit when they improve!!
  • This thread is now the at the top of the GOOGLE search if you enter "log cabin" +Kybotech, so everyone who searches will see what people have to say about your employer. Oops I mean supplier!

Unfortunately, none of the comments, apart from yours, are complimentary about the log cabins as supplied by Kybotech.

    Thanks for the bump!
