I did indeed pay £160 for mine with £12.50 for a delivery charge (to Herefordshire). I'll admit that I am suspicious as I: -
    • cannot understand how someone requests a refund and cannot "remember" how much they paid for the thing in the first place. Usually, one's first thought, when something packs up, is CRIKEY! I PAID £xx FOR THIS! You are OBV more wealthy than me (MP perhaps, did you get in on expenses- tee hee). This is an open and anonymous forum - I am not ashamed to state what I paid, why do you defer?
    • went through a similar exchange as this with CINIMOD who also did not initially want to admit how much they "paid" for their purchase until I said how much I paid for mine.
    • Only asked about area as KyboshTech are reknowned for FREE DELIVERY except for anywhere in the UK like the NW, SE, SE, NE or Central. A statement of delivery costs would have been interesting to add evidence of the reason for the failure to collect.
    • Seem to remember that KyboshTech wanted £299.95 for this when I was looking PLUS £35 delivery to Herefordshire - That was a lot of money back then..
    • " I can’t find the receipt but .... delivery wasn’t too much. The refund covered all". So do you know how much or not? Again your obtuseness doers not help your cause here.
Try telling the truth. We are here to help and your honest statements help others to judge the seller, prevarication just damns them (and you) further). Sorry!

  • DaBl - I think you were lucky that they couldn't find a way of collecting your item. They eventually collected a bike from me 3 weeks ago, and I'm still waiting to find out what is going on.

I'm very surprised at the number of posts on this forum are from Kybotech themselves. They obviously have lots of time to spend on here. I've been on the phone for half an hour and apparently "there are 5 people in the queue ahead of me".

The problem is, I called three days ago and waited a similar amount of time. That call was a waste of my time and money too, because all they could tell me is that I'm currently waiting for them to call me (a fact that I was already very aware of!).

Will they ever get back to me? Will the bike ever be fixed or returned? Or will I ever get my money back? One thing is certainly true - I won't ever be purchasing anything from Kybotech again!

Here we were, having a nice chat about KyboshTek, and then they are gone!

Perhaps there was suddenly a rush of orders/complaints at a certain company and Da** Bl*** was called into the offices to help sell or stall irate customers?

    We will NEVER KNOW....

  • I was amazed to find so many issues with this company - last year I bought two items from them - the summerhouse was fantastic and the delivery was good, they even replaced a broken hinge within a week. Unfortunately I have just erected the greenhouse that we bought and it is, well, for want of a better word, crap! We ran out of the supplied glazing tape half way through glazing it - so I phoned them up this morning and they will supply me more (at £10 a roll) and I probably need more than 10 rolls! Whilst I have been trying to find some more tape, the wind ripped the door off the greenhouse and snapped off the runners (two little plastic things) - I have just been told by the company that they can get me two replacements - they are £20 each!!!!!! I will get a local engineer to make me two new ones for a tenth of that price.
I wish that I had seen this forum before I bought it - the reviews on the gardenbuildingsdirect website were marvellous (4.8 out of a possible 5) - strangely they don't seem to offer this particular greenhouse any more!

I dont think the thread would be deleted by posting the name, albeit I thought we were discussing Kybotech.

Even I dont know what Da** Bl*** means, I assumed it was a censored swear word ;).

    Gawd, Spammy. . . I'm trying. 'Onest I am.

It was just the phrase Here we were, having a nice chat about KyboshTek, and then they are gone! that, er, made me think we were having a nice chat about KyboshTek and then they were, er, gone, when they, well, sort of, hadn't because they were, um, still there. . .?

Of course, I now belatedly appreciate that the phrase 'here we were, having a nice chat' actually referred to a chat with He (or She) Who Will Remain Nameless, though at first sight I did wonder if it was the Dali Blama (but apparently not.) Now, of course, Marleyboy has got me wondering about censored rude words to do with undeliverable sheds.

Too much. I'm going to have to get some stronger medication. . .;)

It's just that the last time I identified the OP of a thread, about Fascia's and Abbey's, the thread got pulled. I was told by someone that this was because I had disclosed the identity of the OP so the thread HAD to be removed. The naming revealed a vested interest of the OP regarding the thread. In a nutshell, the OP was an employee of the company that the thread was about and they had pretended to be customer.

Consequently, I just wanted to point out that there did seem to be a connection between a poster in this thread and a certain employee of a company associated with this thread.

    Get my drift now?
